A rotary electric machine includes a rotor, a stator which is disposed at a predetermined interval in a radial direction from an outer circumferential surface of the rotor, a housing which accommodates the rotor and the stator, and an inflow passage through which a gas is supplied to a gap between the rotor and the stator.

Rotary electric machine

A water jacket includes a base having a plate shape. The base includes: a refrigerant supply path having a refrigerant inflow portion configured to allow a refrigerant to flow thereinto; a refrigerant discharge path having a refrigerant outflow portion configured to allow the refrigerant to flow out therethrough; and a chamber communicating with the refrigerant supply path and the refrigerant discharge path. The chamber includes: a first surface and a second surface facing the first surface; a plurality of columnar fins erected from the first surface and intersecting a flow direction of the refrigerant; and a plurality of wing-like fins disposed closer to the second surface than the first surface and inclined or curved from an upstream side toward a downstream side in the flow direction of the refrigerant as the plurality of wing-like fins go from the second surface toward the first surface.

Water jacket

A water jacket for cooling a plate-shaped heat generating component includes a base having a thin plate shape. The base includes: a refrigerant inflow portion configured to allow a refrigerant to flow thereinto; a refrigerant flow path that communicates with the refrigerant inflow portion and is branched inside the base; and a refrigerant outflow portion that communicates with the refrigerant flow path and is configured to allow the refrigerant to flow out therefrom.

A rotary electric machine housing is configured to accommodate a component of a rotary electric machine. The rotary electric machine housing includes a body portion configured to be in a hollow shape and having an accommodation space in which the component is accommodated, a gas flow path provided with the body portion and communicating with a gas outflow port of an internal combustion engine connected to the rotary electric machine, and a cooling portion configured to cool a gas flowing through the gas flow path. The gas flow path communicates with the accommodation space of the body portion.

Rotary electric machine housing, rotary electric machine, and additive manufacturing method

A rotary electric machine housing is configured to accommodate a component of a rotary electric machine. The rotary electric machine housing includes a body portion configured to be in a hollow shape and having an accommodation space in which the component is accommodated, a water jacket provided at the body portion, an oil flow path communicating with the accommodation space and through which an oil to be supplied to the component flows, and a gas flow path communicating with the accommodation space and through which a gas to be supplied to the component flows. The oil flow path and the gas flow path are provided to enable the oil and the gas to exchange heat with a coolant flowing through the water jacket.

A cooling fluid flow channel inside a housing includes: a plurality of main flow channel pipes each disposed adjacent to the outer surface of the heat generating part, and each arranged along the outer surface of the heat generating part; an inflow-side collecting pipe; and an outflow-side collecting pipe. The plurality of main flow channel pipes each have, in its inside and adjacent to each of the upstream-side ends, a swirl generator. The swirl generator has a plurality of protrusions respectively disposed, along an inner wall surface of each of the main flow channel pipes and respectively protruding toward a center, in radial directions, of each of the main flow channel pipes. The plurality of protrusions respectively have tips being separated from each other to have a through flow channel allowing the cooling fluid, in the radial directions, of each of the main flow channel pipes.

Water jacket and water jacket production method

A water jacket includes a housing configured to be disposed on or adjacent to an outer periphery of a heat generating portion, and a coolant channel provided inside the housing. The coolant channel includes a plurality of main tubular channel portions that extend linearly and are configured to be arranged along and in proximity to the outer periphery of the heat generating portion, an inflow-side manifold portion that collectively connects upstream end portions of the main tubular channel portions and is configured to allow inflow of coolant, and an outflow-side manifold portion that collectively connects downstream end portions of the main tubular channel portions and is configured to allow outflow of the coolant. Each of the main tubular channel portions includes therein a vortex generation part that is disposed in proximity to the upstream end portion and configured to generate a vortex flow.

In this process, one end in an axis (L) direction of the rotor () disposed on an inside in a radial direction is coaxially connected to the second drive source (), and one end in the axis (L) direction of the distributor () disposed on an outside in a radial direction is connected to the first drive source () via a gear train (), and therefore, it is possible to individually rotate the distributor () and the rotor () while achieving a compact size by arranging the first and second drive sources () in a concentrated manner at one end in the axis (L) direction of a liquid flow rate control valve ().

Liquid flow rate control valve

A valve-operating mechanism for an internal combustion engine having intake and exhaust valves and valve control members for controlling the intake and exhaust valves. The intake and exhaust valves are configured as dual valves having an outer valve and an inner valve. The valve control members, at least during scavenging, simultaneously close the outer valves of the intake and exhaust valves, producing a non-overlapping state, and simultaneously open the inner valves of the intake and exhaust valves, producing an overlapping state.

Rotary fluid machine

A rotary fluid machine is provided in which a rotating shaft () fixed to a rotor () is rotatably supported on a fixed shaft () fixed to a casing (), sliding surfaces of the fixed shaft () and the rotating shaft () are lubricated by a first pressurized liquid-phase working medium, and sliding surfaces of the rotor () and a vane () are lubricated by a second pressurized liquid-phase working medium. By setting the pressure of the first pressurized liquid-phase working medium, which is supplied from an eleventh water passage (W), comparatively low and setting the pressure of the second pressurized liquid-phase working medium, which is supplied from a first water passage (W), comparatively high, wasteful leakage of the liquid-phase working medium past the sliding surfaces of the fixed shaft () and the rotating shaft (), where a comparatively small load is applied, can be prevented while enabling the sliding surfaces of the rotor () and the vane (), where a large load is applied, to be reliably lubricated with a high pressure liquid-phase working medium.

A rotating fluid machine is provided with a rotor chamber, a rotor accommodated in the rotor chamber, and vanes guided by vane grooves formed in the rotor. A U-shaped vane seal is held by a seal holding groove formed in the end face of each of the vanes. The opposite ends of the vane seal are fitted into slits in seal ancillary members which are fitted into engaging holes formed in the end faces of each of the vanes. The seal ancillary members are pressed by springs toward the inner circumferential face of the rotor chamber. The pressure of a gaseous phase working medium introduced into the bottom parts of the seal holding grooves is restrained from leaking out of the ends of the vane seal by the seal ancillary members. Thus, sealing performance can be secured by pressing the vane seal against the inner circumferential face of the rotor chamber.
