A polyacetal resin composition makes it possible, when formed into a molded article, to minimize deterioration during contact with sulfur-containing fuel or an acidic detergent. The polyacetal resin composition contains (A) 100 parts by weight of polyacetal resin, (B) 0.1-1.0 parts by weight of hindered phenolic antioxidant, (C) 0.1-2.0 parts by weight of alkaline earth metal oxide, (D) 0.5-3.0 parts by weight of polyalkylene glycol, and (E) 0.01-1.0 parts by weight of polyvalent fatty acid full ester. This polyacetal resin composition minimizes reductions in the weight of a molded article even after the molded article has been immersed in sulfur-containing fuel.

Provided is a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition for insulating parts, which satisfies GWIT Standard over a thickness range of 0.75 to 3 mm, the thickness range having been accepted as difficult to satisfy the Standard. In detail, to (A) 100 parts by weight of a polybutylene terephthalate resin, there are added (B) 5 to 50 parts by weight of a halogen-based flame retardant, (C) 5 to 50 parts by weight of a flame retardant assistant, (D) 1 to 100 parts by weight of a nitrogen-based compound, and (E) 0 to 200 parts by weight of a fibrous reinforcement.

A multilayer tube comprises at least the following three layers: an inner layer contactable with a fuel component, a barrier layer preventing the fuel component permeating, and an outermost layer. In the multilayer tube, the inner layer comprises a poly(butylene terephthalate) resin composition containing at least (A) a poly(butylene terephthalate) resin, the barrier layer comprises a polyester resin composition, and the outermost layer comprises a poly(butylene terephthalate) resin composition containing (A) a poly(butylene terephthalate) resin, (B) an elastomer component, (C) an aromatic polycarbodiimide compound, and (D) an antioxidant.

Multilayer tube

A laser-weldable polybutylene terephthalate-series resin composition having a high laser weldability is provided. The resin composition comprises (A) a polybutylene terephthalate-series resin and (B) a fatty acid-series compound (e.g., a Cfatty acid ester, and a metal salt of a Cfatty acid), and if necessary (C) a cyclic polyester oligomer (e.g., a cyclic polyalkylene terephthalate oligomer). In the resin composition, the proportion of the fatty acid-series compound (B) may be usually about 0.01 to 1.0 part by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the polybutylene terephthalate-series resin (A).
