An injection molding device comprises a mold-clamping device that operates in both of a mold-closing state in which a mold is closed under predetermined pressure and a micro mold-open state in which the mold is held in a state in which the mold is open from the mold-closing state by a predetermined amount, an injection device that molds a molded product by injecting a molding material into the mold set to the mold-closing state or the micro mold-open state and a controller that changes a stop position of the mold in the micro mold-open state in accordance with a change of a mold-closing position when the mold-closing position of the mold in the mold-closing state is changed.

A control device of an injection molding machine which injects a molten resin from an injection nozzle is provided with a display section in which a touch panel is disposed, and a human-machine interface section equipped with a general-purpose operating system, and the human-machine interface section is provided with at least a storage section to store set values which are various molding conditions for each mold article and a control section which controls the display of the display section. The interface section displays, on the display section, a main screen to change settings for the molding conditions stored in the storage section and a subscreen to display indications such as monitors, and also constantly displays a change switch for a change of the screen in a fixed region of the display section.

Control device for use in injection molding machine

In an injection molding machine configured to extrude a melted resin under temperature control and inject the resin into metal molds to provide a molded product, there are provided an HMI section having a built-in general-purpose operating system and configured to control a display section equipped with a touch panel, control modules, such as a main control section, a sequence processing section and a servo command section, having a dedicated microprocessor for each control element of the injection molding machine, and a driver section having servo amplifiers, hydraulic drivers, and so on, configured to be controlled by the control modules and to drive-control an actuator of the injection molding machine, in which, by variously combining together the control modules, it is possible to provide various kinds of injection molding machines, that is, an electric operation type, a hydraulic type and a hybrid type of these combination.

A barrel has an injection nozzle at the forward end, and an injection screw inside, and heaters in the outer circumference. The barrel injects the molten resin from the injection nozzle at the forward end by the rotation of the injection screw. In the barrel, the temperatures of each parts are controlled by a temperature control section. A controller sets a shift minus temperature to uniformly lower the temperature of the parts, and a shift absolute temperature to lower the temperatures of the parts to a predetermined temperature. An operation panel section selects the shift minus temperature or shift absolute temperature to lower the temperatures of the parts. The temperature control section lowers the temperatures of the parts of the barrel by using the temperature selected when the injection molding machine is temporarily stopped.

In the filling step, the forward movement speed of the screw is controlled in accordance with a predetermined speed pattern until the screw reaches a deceleration initiation point, LS B. After the screw reaches LS B, a deceleration step is started. In the deceleration step, the forward movement speed of the screw is controlled in a feedback manner such that the internal pressure of the mold reaches a predetermined target pressure. When the screw reaches a pressure holding initiation point, LS (or pressure holding initiation time, TR ), the pressure holding step is started. In the pressure holding step, the target pressure, which is a function of time, is changed with time in accordance with a program. When the operation goes to the pressure holding step, the set of PID coefficients within the feedback control loop are replaced by different set of PID coefficients.

Method for controlling the forward movement speed of the screw in an injection molding machine

A filling step control method of an injection molding machine for filling a molten resin into a die cavity is provided. The control method has the steps of: sampling in initiating the filling step for filling the molten resin into the die cavity by controlling an injection speed and, thereafter, by controlling a filling pressure while not exceeding a predetermined value; storing the injection speed over an entire filling process when a quality product can be stably obtained during the sampling step into a storage medium as a reference waveform; and after storing the reference waveform, molding for filling the molten resin into the die cavity by controlling the injection speed to follow the reference waveform over the entire filling step.
