An ink composition able to yield a printed adherend having high weathering resistance; wherein, this ink composition is an active energy ray curing type ink composition that is discharged using an inkjet method. The ink composition contains a polymerizable compound, an ultraviolet radiation absorber and an antioxidant. The ultraviolet radiation absorber has a maximum absorption wavelength within the range 315-400 nm. A medium containing the ultraviolet radiation absorber at a concentration of 20 ppm has an absorbance area Ab of 25.0 or more at wavelengths within the range of 315-400 nm.

Provided is a pneumatic tire including, on an outer surface of its sidewall portion, a decorative portion including a print layer and a protective layer located on a tire outer side of the print layer. The decorative portion further includes an intermediate layer located between the print layer and the protective layer. Provided is a pneumatic tire including, on an outer surface of its sidewall portion, a decorative portion including a print layer and inner and outer layers respectively disposed on tire inner and outer sides of the print layer. When storage moduli at 25&#xb0; C. of the print, inner, and outer layers are respectively defined as E1', E2&#x2032;, and E3&#x2032;, E1&#x2032;&#x3c;E2&#x2032; and E1&#x2032;&#x3c;E3&#x2032; are satisfied. When storage moduli at 80&#xb0; C. of the print, inner, and outer layers are respectively defined as E1&#x2032;, E2&#x2032;, and E3&#x2032;, and storage modulus variations &#x3b1;1, &#x3b1;2, and &#x3b1;3 at high temperature of the print, inner, and outer layers are respectively defined as &#x3b1;1=|E1&#x2032;&#x2212;E1&#x2032;|/E1&#x2032;, &#x3b1;2=|E2&#x2032;&#x2212;E2&#x2032;|/E2&#x2032;, and &#x3b1;3=|E3&#x2032;&#x2212;E3&#x2032;|/E3&#x2032;, &#x3b1;1&#x3c;&#x3b1;2 and &#x3b1;1&#x3c;&#x3b1;3, and E2&#x2032;&#x3e;E2&#x2032; and E3&#x2032;&#x3e;E3&#x2032; are satisfied.

Pneumatic tire with sidewall decorative portion inner layer, print layer, and outer layer

Provided is a decorative tire in which an ink composition including a colorant is directly applied onto the tire surface in order to improve the degree of flexibility in design. This decorative tire has a decorative printed layer formed on the tire surface, the decorative printed layer being a cured film of an active-energy-ray-curable ink composition including a colorant. The ink composition includes a monofunctional monomer having a glass transition point of &#x2212;30&#xb0; C. or lower, and a polyfunctional monomer having a glass transition point of 0&#xb0; C. or lower. Preferably, the ink composition further includes a monofunctional monomer having an alicyclic structure with a glass transition point between 0-110&#xb0; C. inclusive. Preferably, a surface protection layer that protects the surface of the decorative printed layer is formed on the surface of the decorative printed layer. Also, preferably, a primer layer is formed between the tire surface and the decorative printed layer.
