A wiper control device suitable used for controlling the wiper apparatus possible to solve a difference in the wiping range caused by the difference in the operation speed (inertial force) of the wiper blade by using the wiper linkage provided with an eccentric mechanism and changing the rotational direction of a wiper motor according to the operation speed, the wiper control device is provided with a wiper switch, the wiper motor, a position switch, a controller and a motor driving circuit, and the controller executes control to change the rotational direction of the wiper motor at the time when the wiper blade arrives in the upper or lower turning position in response to switching operation of the wiper mode.

Wiper control device

A wiper control device is provided with a wiper motor rotatable in the forward and reverse directions and a motor control circuit comprising a first and a second relay connected with the wiper motor, a first drive circuit connected to the first relay and a first position detecting circuit in series, a second drive circuit connected to the second relay and a second position detecting circuit in series, a first turning time delaying circuit connected with the second drive circuit in series, and a second turning time delaying circuit connected with the first drive circuit in series.

A wiper control device includes a wiper switch having a variable resistor which is switched to the respective resistance value corresponding to the respective operation mode of the wiper apparatus. An interface circuit is provided with a reference resistor and a capacitor. A microcomputer is provided with a reference charging port for changing the capacitor through the reference resistor, a detective charging port for changing the same capacitor through the variable resistor switched into various resistance values corresponding to the respective operation modes and a reading port for reading as to whether the capacitor is changed up to a predetermined potential level. The microcomputer determines the selected operation mode on the basis of a relative value calculated from the time required for charging the capacitor through the reference resistor by the reference charging port and the time required for charging the capacitor through the variable resistor of the wiper switch by the detective charging port.

A raindrop detector comprises a vibration detection unit, a signal converter unit for converting the electrical signal output from the vibration detection unit into a data signal, a memory for storing data of the data signal converted by the signal converter unit and for outputting a signal to a wiper motor, and a cancel circuit for cancelling the data. According to this invention, it is possible to improve the control accuracy of the wiper motor because the distance to send the data signals to the memory from the signal converter unit shortens and the data signal is independent of radio interference.

Raindrop detector for a wiper motor

A motor control circuit is disclosed, which comprises an operation switch to issue the forward rotation or reverse rotation signal, driving means to operate the motor to the forward or reverse direction in response to the forward rotation or reverse rotation signal from said operation switch, rotation detecting means to detect the rotating condition of the motor, and stopping means to cut off the power to said motor when, during the operation of the operation switch, the rotation detecting means continues to detect, for a certain period of time, that the rotation of the motor has been stopped.
