An authorization apparatus includes a memory configured to store attribute information associating an identification information of data and information indicating an attribute of the data, the data being stored in a data server, a processor configured to generate an access token in association with an extraction condition to be used for extracting the data to be obtained by a terminal, and a communicator configured to receive a target access token from the data server, wherein when receiving the target access token, the processor is configured to extract identification information of data pieces satisfying the extraction condition associated with the target access token, and generate a list of identification information of the data to be disclosed to the terminal using a target access token, and the communicator transmits the list to the data server.

Transmission apparatus and network control method

A transmission apparatus includes: a storage unit to store a table in which a wavelength terminated by each of transmission apparatuses is associated with each of the transmission apparatuses; a transmission unit to transmit a message including failure information to other transmission apparatus when a failure occurs; a switch controller to determine whether its own transmission apparatus is a last transmission apparatus that terminates the wavelength among transmission apparatuses that are present on a path up to a link where the failure, based on the table, when receiving the message from other transmission apparatus, and to perform a control of switching a transmission direction of a signal having the wavelength when the switch controller determines that its own transmission apparatus is the last transmission apparatus to terminate the wavelength; and a switch to switch a transmission direction of the signal for each wavelength under a control of the switch controller.

Transmission apparatus and method

In an optical transmission apparatus, a path information table stores paths set in a network and wavelength channel information on the paths. A controller searches for an apparatus which performs route switching of paths using a plurality of grouped wavelength channels, based on fault information on the network detected by the optical transmission apparatus, fault information on the network detected by other optical transmission apparatus, and the paths and wavelength channel information on the paths stored in the path information table. When determining that the number of operating paths is maximized by performing the route switching of the paths in the optical transmission apparatus, the controller performs the route switching of the paths.

Optical transmission apparatus

An apparatus switches paths in a wavelength-multiplexing network in which a first number of wavelengths each used for a path to transmit an optical signal are multiplexed into an optical fiber. The apparatus includes an entire switching unit and a second number of individual switching units where the second number is smaller than the first number. The entire switching unit is configured to perform a path-switching process for switching a path, simultaneously on all the first number of wavelengths when failures have occurred for all the first number of wavelengths. The second number of individual switching units are each configured to perform the path-switching process individually on one of a third number of wavelengths included in the first number of wavelengths when at least one failure has occurred for the third number of wavelengths where the third numbers is smaller than the first number.

Apparatus and method for switching paths in a wavelength-multiplexing network

A transmission apparatus includes a processor configured to recognize a number of working failures and a number of protection failures on a network for transmission of wavelength-multiplexed signal light, the number of working failures being the number of failures in signal light in wavelengths at a working entity and the number of protection failures being the number of failures in signal light in wavelengths at a protection entity, configured to perform path switching for each group of signal light in wavelengths that are different from each other and configured to select, when multiple failures occur, restoration processing, on a basis of the number of working failures and the number of protection failures.

Transmission apparatus and network protection method

A communication apparatus stores therein link information indicating a network connection status of an entire hierarchical network, collects link information indicating a network connection status in its own area in predetermined cycles, and transmits the collected link information to another area assigned a level different from a level assigned to its own area. When receiving link information from another area assigned a different level, the communication apparatus determines whether the received link information is new link information newer than link information stored in a predetermined storage unit; when it is determined that the received link information is new link-information, the communication apparatus stores the new link information into the predetermined storage unit and advertises it in its own area; by contrast, when it is determined that the received link information is not new link-information, the communication apparatus discards the received link information without storing and advertising.

A node apparatus in a ring network in which a protection path is provided that cycles around the ring network and transports a signal in a direction opposite to a signal transporting direction of the working path and in the event of a failure of the working path, a node apparatus adjacent to the failure loops back the signal flowing on the working path onto the protection path, the node apparatus comprising: allowable bandwidth storing unit which stores a maximum total bandwidth value, which represents the largest value among per-link total values of bandwidths that a plurality of working paths use on respective links connecting between the node apparatuses, as an allowable bandwidth for a shared path; and bandwidth control unit which controls the bandwidth of traffic flowing on the protection path, in accordance with the allowable bandwidth.
