A three-dimensional shaping apparatus includes: a shaping chamber configured to hold powder; a leveler configured to move from a first position to a second position in a first direction on a top surface of the powder held in the shaping chamber to flatten the top surface of the powder; an ejector configured to eject a shaping liquid to the flattened top surface of the powder held in the shaping chamber; and a suction mechanism including a suction inlet arranged close to the second position of the shaping chamber.

Three-dimensional shaping apparatus and three-dimensional shaping system

A three-dimensional fabrication apparatus includes a fabrication chamber, a supply chamber, a flattening unit, and a powder collector. The powder collector is disposed forward from the flattening unit in a transfer direction of the flattening unit. The powder collector is movable with movement of the flattening unit. The powder collector includes a body container, a collection port, and a discharge port. When the flattening unit transfers and supplies powder, the powder collector collects a portion of the powder from the collection port and contains the portion of the powder in the body container. When the flattening unit returns to the supply chamber, the powder collector discharges and supplies the powder from the body container to the supply chamber through the discharge port.

Apparatus for fabricating three-dimensional object

An image forming apparatus includes: a droplet discharging head that includes nozzle rows; a light emitting unit that irradiates a droplet with laser light emitted in a direction intersecting a discharging direction of the droplet; a light-receiving unit that receives scattered light scattered when the droplet is irradiated by the laser light and outputs a signal corresponding to an amount of the scattered light; and a droplet discharge detecting unit that detects a droplet discharging status of the nozzles based on the signal. The laser light is emitted with an optical axis shifted from middle between two adjacent nozzle rows; and the droplet discharge detecting unit selects two nozzles adjacent in a direction intersecting the nozzle rows as detection target nozzles, and detects the droplet discharging status of the detection target nozzles based on the scattered light scattered when droplets are simultaneously discharged from the detection target nozzles.
