A focus voltage control apparatus adapted for a color CRT and capable of achieving a just focused state of any desired color even in monochromatic display. Red, green and blue color signals R, G, B are integrated per horizontal line period in integrating/peak holding circuits and then are weighted respectively in weight control circuits. Subsequently the maximum one of the color signals is detected in a comparator, and one of color selection signals SR, SG, SB is outputted in accordance with the result of such detection and then is supplied to focus voltage converters for the individual colors. A reference focus voltage refV is converted into a color focus voltage VR, VG or VB on the basis of the color selection signal SR, SG or SB for just focusing the color signal R, G or B. One of such focus voltages is supplied to a focus voltage driver and then is shifted to a higher-level focus voltage V which is supplied to a CRT, whereby the maximum one of the entire color signals included in the input video signal is displayed in a just focused state.

Focus voltage control apparatus

An antenna and mounting arrangement include a mounting portion attached to a rear of a dish portion of the antenna. The mounting portion may be affixed to a pole and may be positioned at any point along the length of the pole before tightening in position by way of bolts. A length of the mounting portion insures that when secured in position the dish portion of the antenna will not contact the pole. Thus, a plurality of antennas may be conveniently mounted on a single pole.

An additive video information inserting device includes a MUSE-NTSC converter, and an additive video information encoder for receiving an output video signal of the MUSE-NTSC converter and inserting into the video signal an additive video information indicating a frame mode for the video signal. The additive video information is so set as to correspond to a frame mode in a conversion operation of the MUSE-NTSC converter. The additive video information is inserted into a predetermined position in a vertical blanking period of the video signal.

Inserting additive video information into a video signal that identifies

In a video additive information identifying device, one of plural video signal inputs each containing a video ID signal is inserted as video additive information on one line at a predetermined position within a vertical blanking period. The selected video signal input is subjected to a Y/C separation processing, and the video ID signal of the selected video signal is extracted from a Y-signal after separation to identify the content of the extracted video ID signal, that is, a frame mode. On the basis of the identification result, a display frame mode of a video display is controlled to be corrected.

Video additive information identifying device with plural inputs

An apparatus for providing electromagnetic shielding. A wire for carrying an electrical signal is shielded with a first cylindrical ferrite shield by passing the wire through its central passage. The first ferrite shield has magnetic characteristics which provide attenuation of electrical noise over a first particular frequency band. A second cylindrical ferrite shield is situated adjacent the first shield with the wire passing through its central passage. The second ferrite shield has magnetic characteristics which provide attenuation of electrical noise over a second particular frequency band. A plastic package surrounds the first and second ferrite shields, and holds the first and second shields end to end in fixed proximity to one another. The plastic package includes a pair of half-cylindrical package sections having a joined edge and two open edges with a hinge portion joining the pair of package sections at the joined edge. A pair of latches, each including a hole, are situated at one of the open edges. A pair of recessed portions with hooks are aligned with the latches and engage the latches when the half-cylindrical sections are rotated to a closed position to form the cylindrical shape. A plurality of projections are situated at the open ends of the package sections and adjacent an end of each of the first and second ferrite shields. These projections project toward a central area of the package when in the closed position to retain the first and second half-cylindrical portions of the first and second ferrite shields within the plastic package.
