Silver halide photosensitive material after exposure is processed by developing it with a developer solution and then processing it with a processing solution having bleaching function and/or a processing solution having fixing function, while placing the developer solution and/or said processing solution having fixing function in contact with the other processing solution and/or an electrolyte solution through an anion exchange membrane, placing a cathode in the developer solution and/or the processing solution having fixing function and an anode in the other processing solution and/or the electrolyte solution, and conducting electricity therebetween. An alternative method involves placing the processing solution having bleaching function in contact with the other processing solution and/or an electrolyte solution through an anion exchange membrane, placing an anode in the processing solution having bleaching function and a cathode in the other processing solution and/or the electrolyte solution, and conducting electricity therebetween. The respective processing solutions maintain constant processing ability.

Photographic processing method and tank

A silver halide color reversal photographic light-sensitive material processing method which forms a color reversal image by performing first black-and-white development, fogging process, color reversal development, and desilvering process by using a color reversal developer with a composition containing a non-dye-forming competing coupler, a silver halide fogging agent, and a carboxybenzenesulfonic acid compound and not containing hydroxylamine or its derivative.

Method for processing silver halide color reversal photographic

A light-sensitive material treating apparatus which is small in size and produces a reduced quantity of waste fluid. A current conduction process is applied to a developing solution using an auxiliary tank communicated with a developing tank and to which a supplementary solution is supplied. The developing solution contains a developing agent which is oxidized to an oxidation state by reaction with silver halide and reduced to a reduction state by electronation. The auxiliary tank is separated into two chambers by a cation-exchange membrane, and a cathode and an anode are provided in respective ones of the chambers arranged opposite to each other with respect to the cation-exchange membrane. A current is applied between the two electrodes. The current conduction time is controlled on the basis of current conduction efficiency corresponding to the time of use.

Light-sensitive material treating apparatus

A processing solution such as a developer and fixer is maintained at optimum processing ability by conducting electricity through an anion exchange membrane. In FIG. 1 , for example, an anion exchange membrane A1 and an only H.sup.+ and/or OH.sup.- permeable diaphragm M1 are disposed in a tank 11 to define three compartments 11a, 11b, 11c which are charged with electrolyte solution E1, developer Dev, and electrolyte solution E2 and have disposed therein anode 22, cathode 21 and anode 24, respectively. Silver halide photosensitive material is processed by passing it through the developer. Electricity is conducted between anode 22 and cathode 21 during processing and between anode 24 and cathode 21 during quiescent periods.

Photographic processing apparatus and method

A method of producing an image comprising processing an imagewise exposed silver halide photosensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a silver halide sensitized with a selenium sensitizer in a black-and-white developer which contains a chelate complex salt of a transition metal. In a preferred embodiment, an electric current is passed through the developer to remove halide ions therefrom and to regenerate (reduce) the metal complex. A protective layer may be provided on the silver halide emulsion layer having a thickness of 0.6 .mu.m or less.

Method of processing a silver halide photosensitive material containing

A method for continuously processing a plurality of photographic picture-taking films is provided. The printing information used in making prints from a processed film, for example, an exposure quantity upon printing, and the density information of the processed film, for example, the density of each frame of the processed film are used as a decisive factor for determining a processing condition under which subsequent films are processed. The amount of processing solution to be replenished is controlled by taking into account the processing of the preceding film, thereby achieving optimum processing performance.

Photographic picture-taking film processing

In an apparatus for processing a photosensitive sheet by passing it through processing solution in a tank, vertically spaced-apart roller units are disposed in the tank for normally feeding the sheet downward and then upward at opposite sides thereof, but capable of reversing the sheet when selected. The sheet is turned around a selected roller unit whereby the length of the path that the sheet travels through the solution and hence, the duration of processing time is variable.

Photosensitive material processing apparatus

A method for processing a silver halide color photographic material is described which comprises subjecting an imagewise exposed silver halide color photographic material to color development and then bleaching the developed color photographic material with a bleaching solution containing a ferric salt of an aminopolycarboxylic acid, wherein the bleaching solution additionally contains at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I) or (II) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are identical or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl or ethyl group, and n represents an integer of 1 to 3, and wherein the oxidation reduction potential of the bleaching solution is adjusted to not more than 100 mV.
