A door beam structure includes a door beam attached to a side door so as to extend along a longitudinal axis of a vehicle. The door beam has a curved shape extending outwardly along a transverse axis of the vehicle and is spaced apart from a door skin in an inward direction along the transverse axis as the door beam extends to opposite end portions, along the longitudinal axis, of the door beam. The door beam includes a first end portion located in a frontward direction along the longitudinal axis, the first end portion being opposite to a center pillar. The first end portion is provided with a crush box.

Door beam structure

A vehicle door structure includes: a horizontal beam arranged inside a door of a vehicle to extend in a vehicle front-rear direction; and a vertical beam arranged inside the door to extend in a vehicle up-down direction, wherein a vehicle front-side end and a vehicle rear-side end of the horizontal beam are each fixed to a door frame, and the vertical beam is fixed in a cantilever fashion to an intermediate portion of the horizontal beam in an axial direction thereof.

Vehicle door structure

An automobile vehicle compartment includes an octagonal frame having side sills that extend in the vehicle body fore-and-aft direction, a dashboard lower cross member and middle cross member that extend in the vehicle width direction, and four inclined members, and it is therefore possible to ensure that there is sufficient rigidity both for a collision load from the vehicle body fore-and-aft direction and from the side of the vehicle body, thereby minimizing deformation of the vehicle compartment. Furthermore, since front side frames and a front bumper beam form a U-shaped frame that curves in a U-shape toward the vehicle body fore-and-aft direction in front of the vehicle compartment, it is possible by crushing of the high rigidity U-shaped frame to absorb effectively a collision load from the vehicle body fore-and-aft direction, including an offset collision, thereby preventing more effectively deformation of the vehicle compartment.

Vehicle body frame structure

A vehicle floor structure including: a floor tunnel frame arranged along a center in a vehicle width direction and extending in a vehicle length direction; side sills arranged on the right and left sides of a vehicle body and extending in the length direction; lateral frame members connecting the tunnel frame with the side sills; floor panels bridged between the tunnel frame and the side sills; obliquely extending portions provided on at least one of the lateral frame members and extending so as to be inclined to the length direction in a planar view, connecting respectively with the side sills; and concentric arc-shaped beads provided in the respective panels, with centers respectively at intersections of the side sills and the obliquely extending portions, wherein at least one of the beads has one end extending orthogonal to the side sill and the other end extending orthogonal to the width direction.

Vehicle floor structure

A rear structure of a vehicle body, where a spare tire pan is supported by rear frames extending substantially in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, includes a plurality of arc-shaped beads that is continued in a circular arc shape and formed on the spare tire pan. The plurality of arc-shaped beads is disposed so as to be spaced apart from each other, and formed in a concave shape at substantially the same pitch toward the rear side of the vehicle body.

A vehicle rear portion structure including: a pair of rear frames that extend substantially in a vehicle longitudinal direction; a rear cross member that extends in a vehicle width direction and that connects both of the two rear frames; a pair of rear wheel houses that are provided with damper supporting portions; a parcel frame that extends along the vehicle width direction above the rear wheel houses; and a pair of reinforcing frames that connect both end portions of the rear cross member and both end portions of the parcel frame, wherein the reinforcing frames are placed along a side wall of respective the rear wheel houses, the side wall being adjacent to respective the damper supporting portions, and a toroidal skeleton frame is formed with the parcel frame, the reinforcing frames, and the rear cross member so as to follow a plurality of rear suspension mounting points.

Vehicle rear portion structure

A high-rigidity, light-weight bottom structure for a vehicle body is disclosed. The structure comprises a rectangular framework and an X-shaped frame member positioned inside the rectangular framework. The framework in the vicinity of an area where front wheels or rear wheels are provided is formed by a triangular frame part.

Vehicle body bottom structure

In a floor panel in a vehicle, a plurality of beads, each having an arc form, are coaxially arranged on the floor panel; the center of the coaxially-arranged beads is positioned on either of side sills provided on the right and left sides of the vehicle; and each of the beads has an inclined surface, and the inclination angle of the surface with respect to the horizontal position is gradually decreased in a direction from the inner side to the outer side along the width of the vehicle. Typically, each of the beads protrudes upward, and has an inclined rear wall, and the inclination angle of the rear wall with respect to the horizontal position is gradually decreased in the direction from the inner side to the outer side along the width of the vehicle.

In a floor panel in a vehicle, a plurality of beads are arranged in parallel on the floor panel; a joint part for connecting adjacent two of the beads is provided so as to form a coplanar surface over the two beads; a positioning hole, which is used for positioning the floor panel during assembly, is provided in the joint part; and a burr, which protrudes toward the inside of the beads, is formed at the inner periphery of the positioning hole. Preferably, the length of the joint part along the length of the two beads is determined so as to secure the width length of each of the two beads on both sides of the positioning hole. Typically, a plurality of the positioning holes is provided so as to be dispersed in the front-to-back direction of the vehicle.

A rear structure of a vehicle body including: an arc-shaped frame which is fixed at a middle portion along an extending direction thereof to a rear panel, and has first reinforcing portions in which both ends along the extending direction, which extend along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and which have cross sections opening toward corresponding rear frames; and a pair of rear frames fixed at a rear end thereof to the rear panel, fixed at a front end thereof to corresponding side sill, and has a second reinforcing portion which extends along the longitudinal direction and which has a cross section opening toward the corresponding first reinforcing portion, wherein the first reinforcing portions and the corresponding second reinforcing portions are fixed to each other interposing side flanges of a spare tire pan therebetween.

A vehicle floor structure including a floor panel which includes: a plurality of arc beads which are provided on a surface of the floor panel so as to be arranged in parallel with each other and to extend from a side sill inner toward a middle cross member while being bent; and a bracket which is provided in the vicinity of the side sill inner for fixing an auto part, wherein: at least one of the beads in the vicinity of the side sill inner is diverged and connected to the beads at a farther side with respect to the side sill inner; the bracket is fixed so as to cover the bead in the vicinity of the side sill inner; and a farther end portion of the bracket with respect to the side sill inner is fixed so as to straddle the diverged beads.

A rear vehicle body structure including a left-right pair of first rear frame, a second rear frame arcuate in plan view which is connected to the rear ends of the first rear frames, a rear bumper beam with a front surface of a central portion thereof connected to a rear surface of the second rear frame, a left-right pair of fender beams with one-side end portions thereof connected respectively to both end portions of the rear bumper beam, and a left-right pair of rearmost portion pillars connected to the other end portions of the fender frames.

Rear vehicle body structure

A floor structure of a vehicle body capable of enhancing rigidity against a external force from a side of the vehicle body includes a pair of right and left side sills, a pair of front and rear cross members provided between the pair of right and left side sills, and a floor panel surrounded by the pair of right and left side sills and the pair of front and rear cross members. The floor panel is provided thereover with beads in a concentric arc shape spreading from parts at which the side sills and the cross members are vertically joined to each other. Reinforcement members are provided at corners defined by the side sills and the cross members in such a manner that the reinforcement members are slantingly placed and joined to the side sills and cross members.

Floor structure of vehicle body

In a vehicle frame structure, an upper edge of a frame member is fixed to a lower face of a substantially flat panel, and a bottom wall of an upper stiffener fixed to an inner face of an upper part of a curved portion of the frame member and a bottom wall of a lower stiffener fixed to an outer face of a lower part of a region between two inflection points of the curved portion are arranged in an X shape relative to a top point of the curved portion. Therefore, when a compressive load in the longitudinal direction acts on the frame member, the curved portion of the frame member is effectively prevented from bending by counterbalancing the upward load acting on the lower stiffener bottom wall with the downward load acting on the upper stiffener bottom wall. Moreover, the upper stiffener and the lower stiffener are U-shaped cross-section members that can be formed by bent sheet metal, and thereby minimize any increase in weight due to installation of the stiffeners.
