A vehicle steering device includes: a steering mechanism that steers steered wheels by driving of a steering motor according to operation of an operation unit; a motor angle sensor that detects a rotation angle of the steering motor as an electrical angle; a steered angle sensor that detects a steered angle of the steered wheels; a storage unit in which correspondence between the electrical angle and the steered angle that are detected is stored in advance; and a failure determination unit that determines whether there is a failure or not by comparing the relation between the detected electrical angle and the detected steered angle with the correspondence between the electrical angle and the steered angle that is stored in the storage unit.

A transmission driving device that is capable of preventing displacement of a shift operation member or a select operation member in a case where there is reverse input in the shift operation member or the select operation member by inhibiting rotation of a rotation member which is released from an input shaft. When an input shaft and a first rotor are connected, the first electromagnetic coil is an excitation state and a second electromagnetic coil is in a non-excitation state. In this state, a second magnetic ring is not attracted to the side of the second electromagnetic coil, a seventh facing, which is fixed to the second magnetic ring, and an eighth facing are engaged with each other, and a second rotor and a casing are connected to each other. In a connection state of the second rotor and the casing, the second rotor cannot be rotated.

Transmission driving device

A transmission that is able to perform shift operation and select operation using the driving force of a single electric motor is provided. A shift/select actuating device includes: an electric motor; a first conversion mechanism; a second conversion mechanism; and a changing unit that changes a destination, to which the rotational driving force of the electric motor is transmitted, between the first conversion mechanism and the second conversion mechanism. The changing unit includes: a first electromagnetic clutch that transmits the rotational driving force of the electric motor to the first conversion mechanism or interrupts the rotational driving force; and a second electromagnetic clutch that transmits the rotational driving force to the second conversion mechanism or interrupts the rotational driving force.

Transmission

In a motor comprising a stator and a rotor disposed in an inner circumference of the stator, the stator comprises a substantially cylindrical stator core and coils made up of wound conductors, and the stator core comprises an outer circumferential portion which constitutes an outer circumferential wall of the stator and an inner circumferential portion round which the conductors are wound. The outer circumferential portion is formed of a first sintered metal made of a powder magnetic material, while the inner circumferential portion is formed of a second sintered metal made of a powder magnetic material, and the first sintered metal is a sintered metal having a higher mechanical strength than the second sintered metal. Additionally, the stator core is formed by diffusion bonding the outer circumferential portion and the inner circumferential portion being bonded together.

An electric pump unit includes an outer rotor, an inner rotor which meshes with the outer rotor in such a state that the inner rotor and the outer rotor are placed eccentrically to each other and which is driven by being supported by a rotation shaft of an electric motor, a pump housing which defines a cavity portion which accommodates therein the outer rotor and the inner rotor, inlet and outlet ports which are provided on inlet and outlet sides, respectively, so as to suck and discharge a fluid and which communicate with each other via the cavity portion, and a fluid circulating unit for circulating the fluid from the outlet side to the inlet side when a fluid pressure at the outlet side reaches or exceeds a predetermined pressure.

Electric pump unit and electric oil pump

A motor includes a rotor having a permanent magnet fitted thereon, and a stator having an inner peripheral surface spaced a predetermined distance from an outer peripheral surface of the rotor in opposed relation thereto, and the stator is press-fitted in a motor case to be fixed thereto with its outer peripheral surface. A plurality of projecting portions are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the motor case. Recess portions for engagement with the respective projecting portions are formed in the outer peripheral surface of the stator. When the stator is press-fitted into the motor case, the stator is fixed to the motor case with inner bottom surfaces of the recess portions serving as press-fitting surfaces. The projecting portions of the motor case are engaged respectively in the recess portions of the stator, thereby preventing the rotation of the stator relative to the motor case.

Motor and electric pump

A stator of a motor according to the invention includes a stator coreannularly continued, a plurality of insulators each having a body part which is engaged with an outer peripheral surface of a tooth part of the stator core and a flange part which is projected at a distal end side of the tooth part, and a coil which is wound around the tooth part by way of the insulator. A first magnetic body is provided on a surface of the flange part of the insulator opposed to a rotor, in a state magnetically connected to the tooth part.

To provide a motor control apparatus, including a rotational number detecting means for detecting the rotational number of a motor; a current detecting means for detecting a motor current; a voltage detecting means for detecting an impressed voltage to be supplied to a motor; a temperature estimating means for obtaining a motor temperature from the rotational number of a motor, the motor current, and the impressed voltage; and a protection signal generating means for generating an operational signal in order to protect the motor when the obtained motor temperature exceeds a predetermined value.

Motor control apparatus and motor control method

In a method of operating an electric motor which drives an auxiliary oil pump for supplying a hydraulic pressure of an ATF to a transmission, only at an idle stop of an engine via a rotation shaft pivotally supported by ball bearings, the electric motor is rotated at a very low speed or in an intermittent manner when an automobile is traveling and the auxiliary oil pump is not used. According to the configuration, the electric motor is slightly rotated during when the automobile is traveling, whereby impressions are prevented from being formed on the ball bearings.
