By the vehicle control method, in a vehicle provided with wheel, a sensor that acquires rotation speed of the wheel, and a sound generation device that generates sound as the sound generation device is driven, the angular acceleration of wheel is obtained from the rotation speed acquired by a sensor, and a sound generation device is controlled such that the generated sound becomes louder when conditions are met. In order to suppress power consumption, in a parking lock control device of a vehicle of the present invention, when a parking lock activation command is outputted, either one of right or left parking lock mechanism is activated. When it is estimated or detected that the vehicle moves in a state in which only the one parking lock mechanism is activated, the other parking lock mechanism is activated.

Parking lock control device for vehicle and control method

In a parking lock control device of a vehicle of the present invention, when a parking lock activation command is outputted, either one of parking lock mechanisms is activated. In this state, a movement of the vehicle is estimated or detected, and when the vehicle movement is a predetermined amount or more, the parking lock control device generates a torque that suppresses the vehicle movement by the motor connected to the other parking lock mechanism. Power consumption associated with the parking lock is then suppressed.

In a parking lock control device of a vehicle of the present invention, when a parking lock activation compound is outputted, either one of the parking lock mechanisms is activated. When the steering wheel is steered to a right hand side, the left side parking lock mechanism is activated. When the steering wheel is steered to a left hand side, the right side parking lock mechanism is activated. Thus, power consumption is suppressed. In a case where the vehicle moves when only the one parking lock mechanism is activated, the other parking lock mechanism is also activated.

The wiring arrangement length in a photoreceiving device is shortened. The photoreceiving device includes an amplifier for amplifying an output of the photoreceiving element and a photoreceiving element and they are mounted at a base member. A plurality of first bonding pads and a plurality of second bonding pads for connection to power supply are provided at both sides of a transmission path of an input or output signal of a photoreceiving element. Furthermore, at a position other than the parts arrangement surface of the base member, a plurality of first bonding pads are electrically connected to a plurality of second bonding pads.

A double rate processing part generates, at a double rate, a non-interlaced image signal every frame to twice generate a double-rate non-interlaced signal which has identical information duplicately. An interlace part, after a predetermined process is carried out on the double-rate non-interlaced signal twice generated by the double rate processing part, extracts an odd scan lines from one of the twice generated double-rate non-interlaced signal to generate an odd scan line image signal, extracts an even scan lines from the other of the twice generated double-rate non-interlaced signal to generate an even scan line image signal, so as to obtain an interlaced image signal for one frame.

A monitoring system of the present invention achieves highly reliable switching control by having a monitored response time creating/calculating unit calculate a maximum value and a minimum value between which a response time is judged as normal from a response time of the last measurement and from a response time of the last but one measurement, and by having a monitored response time comparing unit set a range in which a response time is judged as normal in a manner that agrees with past response times.

A chromatic dispersion compensator of present invention includes a high-refractive-index VIPA plate, a three-dimensional mirror, and a control unit. The high-refractive-index VIPA plate is made of a material such as silicon having a refractive index higher than that of optical glass and is able to output incident lights toward different directions according to wavelength. The three-dimensional mirror reflects the light of each wavelength emitted from the high-refractive-index VIPA plate, at a predetermined position and returns the light to the VIPA plate. The control unit controls a temperature of the high-refractive-index VIPA plate at a constant level while controlling the position of the three-dimensional mirror corresponding to a chromatic dispersion compensation amount. Thereby, larger chromatic dispersion can be compensated while a decrease in transmission bandwidth is suppressed.

Chromatic dispersion compensator

In an exemplary embodiment, a transmission outputs power from two high-speed, high-powered motor/generators into two coaxial output shafts for left and right wheels of a vehicle. Embodiments of the invention provide for a transmission that is coaxially mounted with the output shafts and the two motor/generators, which allows for a space-saving design. The transmission provides at least two degrees of freedom such that torque to each of the left any right wheels of driveshaft can be separately controlled by controlling the input/output of each of the motor/generators. The transmission may include two differential units to allow a significant gear reduction such that motor/generators that require high output speeds may be used.

Transmission

A hybrid transmission connected with a prime power source, including an input member for receiving power input from the prime power source, a two degree-of-freedom gear mechanism having a first axis and including at least four rotating members that are associated to rotate about the first axis, a first motor/generator having a second axis aligned with the first axis of the two degree-of-freedom gear mechanism, and a second motor/generator having a third axis offset from and parallel to the first axis. The first motor/generator is drivingly connected with the first rotating member of the two degree-of-freedom gear mechanism. The second motor/generator is drivingly connected with the second rotating member of the two degree-of-freedom gear mechanism.

Hybrid transmission

A chromatic dispersion generating apparatus of the present invention comprises a VIPA plate capable of emitting an incident light to different directions according to wavelengths, a three-dimensional mirror reflecting the light of respective wavelengths emitted from the VIPA plate at a previously set position to return them to the VIPA plate, and a control section that controls a position of the three-dimensional mirror and the temperature of the VIPA plate. The control section computes a target position of the three-dimensional mirror and the target temperature of the VIPA plate, which correspond to an arbitrary wavelength and a chromatic dispersion value, based on data relating to positions of the three-dimensional mirror corresponding to a plurality of chromatic dispersion values of a specific wavelength and a chromatic dispersion slope value, and data relating to the temperatures of the VIPA plate corresponding to a plurality of dispersion values for respective wavelengths on a predetermined wavelength grid and a wavelength temperature coefficient, which are stored in a storage circuit, to optimize the computed target position and the computed target temperature. As a result, it becomes possible to generate the chromatic dispersion with high accuracy at an arbitrary wavelength.

Chromatic dispersion generating apparatus

In a chromatic dispersion and dispersion slope compensating apparatus according to the present invention, a WDM light which has been angularly dispersed to a first direction by a VIPA plate, is angularly dispersed to a second direction vertical to the first direction by a diffraction grating, and optical signals of respective wavelengths output from the diffraction grating are reflected by any one of a plurality of three-dimensional mirrors having reflective surfaces of curved shapes different from each other, to be returned to the VIPA plate. Thus, with a simple control mechanism in which the plurality of three-dimensional mirrors are moved to only the second direction, an apparatus capable of variably compensating for the chromatic dispersion and the dispersion slope independent of each other can be provided.

Chromatic dispersion and dispersion slope compensating apparatus

In a dispersion slope compensator of the invention, angular dispersion of a WDM light in which the angular dispersion is already performed in a first direction (Y-axis) with a VIPA plate is performed in a second direction (X'-axis) perpendicular to the first direction with a diffraction grating, and the WDM light is reflected from a three-dimensional mirror and returned to the VIPA plate side. At this point, the three-dimensional mirror is mounted on a rotating stage while placed on a linear-moving stage, which moves the three-dimensional mirror in parallel in the second direction. Thereby, the rotating stage can adjust an angle of a reflection plane of the three-dimensional mirror with respect to an optical axis of the light focused with a lens, which allows optical axis shift of the reflected light to be corrected in the three-dimensional mirror according to setting of a chromatic dispersion compensation amount. Accordingly, chromatic dispersion compensation and dispersion slope compensation can be realized over a wide signal band.
