The rotary inertial mass damper has a configuration in which the rotary shaft of the oil-pressure motor rotates due to oil pressure of operating oil that is extruded from an oil chamber through reciprocating movement of the piston rod, and viscosity resistance is produced in operating oil that circulates in the connection pipes.

A threaded connection for steel pipe with improved sealing performance is provided. A threaded connection () for steel pipe includes a pin () and a box (). The outer diameter of the box () is smaller than 108% of the outer diameter of a steel-pipe body (). The pin () includes a pin lip () including a first seal surface (), a male thread () constituted by a single-stage tapered thread, and a second seal surface (). The box () includes a first seal surface (), a female thread () constituted by a single-stage tapered thread, and a box lip () including a second seal surface (). When assembled, the first seal surfaces () are in contact with each other and the second seal surfaces () are in contact with each other. A portion of the male thread () located near the end thereof close to the pin lip () includes a plurality of thread root surfaces extending parallel to the pipe axis (CL) and having the same diameter. A portion of the female thread () located near the end thereof close to the box lip () includes a plurality of thread root surfaces extending parallel to the pipe axis (CL) and having the same diameter.

The reverse rotation preventive mechanism has a rolling gear coupled to a rotational system made up of the supply bobbin drive shaft, the take-up bobbin drive shaft and the rotational coupling mechanism, moving gears moving over a predetermined range around the rolling gear and meshing with the rolling gear, and locking projections disposed to confront a reverse rotating direction of the rolling gear to lock the moving gears.

Provided are amorphous silica particles for application to industrial fields where there are increasing desires for high purity and colorlessness. The amorphous silica particles are produced through the steps of hydrolysis of an alkoxide, vacuum drying, and firing. The amorphous silica particles have been reduced in coloration and in Fe content, which is causative of coloration of the silica, and can meet the desires. The amorphous silica is characterized by having an Fe content of 20 ppm or less.

The focusing detector uses horizontal data without vertical data from the image data so as to determine whether a subject image is in focus, when the flicker detector detects a flicker.

The correction-term adder 1 produces a correction amount &#x3b2; by selecting smaller one in absolute value between the triangular-wave-shaped signal k(max(V*)+min(V*)) and the correction amount &#x3b1;, and adds the correction amount &#x3b2; to the voltage command values V*, V*, V*.

Method of controlling power conversion device

A digital camera is provided that includes a camera body and a monitor device. The camera body includes an imaging module, an image stabilization module, a first connector half and a first wireless communication module. The monitor device is detachable from the camera body and includes a monitor, a second connector half complemental to the first connector half and a second wireless communication module complemental to the first wireless communication module. An operation of the image stabilization module is suspended when monitor device is detached from the camera body.

The torque tool device includes a torque tool and an information processing terminal. The torque tool is capable of measuring the torque value at which a bolt or the like was tightened and then transmitting the measured torque value via wireless communication unit and the information processing terminal has information processing unit receiving the measured torque value and determining whether the torque value is acceptable.
