A vehicular window molding attached along a gap between a window opening edge of a vehicle body panel and an outer peripheral edge portion of a window pane arranged at the window opening. The vehicular window molding includes a molding main body portion attached to the outer peripheral edge portion of the window pane, a sealing lip portion projected from the molding main body portion to the vehicle body panel for shielding the gap from an exterior direction in a state in which the window molding is attached to the gap of the vehicle body panel and a folded-back lip portion folded back at a free end portion of the sealing lip portion to be brought into elastic contact with an outer face of the vehicle body panel. At least one of back faces of the sealing lip portion and the folded-back lip portion, sticking prevention means for preventing the back faces from sticking to each other is formed at a portion of overlapping the sealing lip portion and the folded-back lip portion.

Window edge molding for motor vehicle

A molded product assembly includes a molded product being mountable to a body to be mounted having a mounting hole via a fastener. The molded product has a post projecting toward the mounting hole and disposed on a back surface of the molded product, at least a part of the post projecting through the mounting hole to a back surface side of the body to be mounted in mounting the molded product to the body to be mounted, and a holding portion disposed on the part of the post to hold the fastener. The fastener has a portion to be held that is held by the holding portion, and an elastic engagement leg being elastically deformable and having an engagement portion to be engaged with a peripheral edge of the mounting hole, the elastic engagement leg being located on the back surface side of the body to be mounted.

In a molding fixing structure, a T-stud stood within a roof groove is inserted into a T-stud insertion hole of a fixing clip, and then a roof molding is moved in a longitudinal direction of the roof groove with respect to the T-stud to insert the T-stud into a T-stud fixing hole of the fixing clip. A base plate portion of the fixing clip includes a bottom portion positioned lower than a lower surface of a head portion of the T-stud when the T-stud is inserted into the T-stud insertion hole, a guide portion that extends obliquely upward from the bottom portion toward a longitudinal center side of the roof molding and is in sliding contact with the lower surface of the head portion of the T-stud, and a top portion formed in the guide portion and positioned higher than the lower surface of the head portion.

Molding fixing structure, roof molding and fixing clip

To prevent abnormal sounds made by the vibrations of the tip of a seal lip of the molding for a window plate of a vehicle which are created when the air is sucked out from the inner cavity by the difference in pressure between the inside and the outside of the seal lip when the vehicle runs at high speeds, a seal lip body 4a extends in the direction of a vehicle body panel P from the leg of the molding 1 for a window plate and a folded-back lip 4b is consecutively integrally formed such that it folded back in the opposite inward direction from the tip of the seal lip body 4a into the cavity 5 between itself and the vehicle body panel P and extends along the vehicle body panel P. When the vehicle runs at high speeds, even if the seal lip 4a is moved up by the difference in pressure between the inside and the outside of the seal lip body 4a, the folded-back lip 4b is pressed on the vehicle body panel P and thus the air does not leak from the cavity 5. Therefore, it can prevent the abnormal sounds which are produced when the air leaks.

Moulding for window plate of vehicle

A window molding for an automobile, adapted to be mounted in an endless manner in a space defined between the outer periphery of a rear window glass and the inner periphery of a rear window opening of a body of the automobile, so as to trim and seal said space, the body of the window molding being formed with a planar cover portion projecting from the portion of the molding body that is to be mounted on a lower portion of the rear window glass so as to elastically abut against a lower panel forming the rear opening, whereby the entirety of the rear window glass can be trimmed and sealed by the window molding as a single part.

Window molding for automobile

A window molding for an automobile, adapted to be mounted in a space defined between the outer periphery of a rear window glass and the inner periphery of a rear window opening of a body of the automobile, so as to trim and seal said space. The body of the window molding is formed with a planar cover portion projecting from the portion of the molding body that is to be mounted on a lower portion of the rear window glass so as to elastically abut against a lower panel forming the rear opening, whereby the rear window glass can be trimmed and sealed by the window molding.
