The heat-sensitive medium includes a base material, a plurality of heat-sensitive layers, and at least one heat-insulating layer in a stacked state. A tape printer with a thermal head and a tape cassette for forming a self-laminating printed label: wherein the tape cassette comprises; an ink ribbon including a print ink layer formed from opaque ink, a transparent ink layer formed from transparent ink and a longitudinal film base, the print ink layer and the transparent ink layer being coated on the film base in a longitudinal direction of the film base; a print tape including a longitudinal transparent film portion with a first surface side and a second surface side opposite to the first surface side, the opaque ink of the print ink layer and the transparent ink of the transparent ink layer being transferred to the first surface side of the transparent film portion from the ink ribbon; wherein, in the print tape, a transparent adhesive layer is coated on the second surface side of the transparent film portion, the opaque ink of the print ink layer is transferred on a first end side of the first surface side of the transparent film portion in a width direction from the ink ribbon and the transparent ink of the transparent ink layer is transferred on a second end side of the transparent film portion opposite to the first end side from the ink ribbon, and wherein the thermal head operates to transfer both the opaque ink of the print ink layer and the transparent ink of the transparent ink layer on the print tape from the ink ribbon.

Tape printer for forming self-laminating label, tape cassette and ink ribbon therefor

A printer includes a feeding portion, a guide portion, and a processor. The processor determines whether a roll sheet in the printer is an inward facing roll sheet or an outward facing roll sheet. When the roll sheet is the inward facing roll sheet, the processor controls the feeding portion to move the downstream-side end portion of the print medium from the cutting position to an upstream side in the feed direction than the upstream end portion before the printing. And the processor controls the printing portion to start printing. When the roll sheet is the outward facing roll sheet, the processor controls the printing portion to start printing in a state in which a downstream-side end portion of the print medium in the feed direction is positioned further to a downstream side in the feed direction than an upstream-side end portion of the guide portion in the feed direction.

A foot pedal locking device for cargo-handling vehicles, for preventing cargo-handling equipment of the vehicle from starting if an operator accidentally steps on a foot pedal when getting off the vehicle. An operating means, when operated by the operator, works to move a restricting means on the basis of a detection signal from a detecting means for detecting the state of utilization of the cargo-handling vehicle, thus locking or unlocking the foot pedal. Furthermore, the foot pedal locking device has a restraining means which can be switched between a restraining position where the operator occupying a seat is restrained and a waiting position where the restraining means does not interfere with the operator when he gets on or off the seat. With the switching operation of this restraining means from the restraining position to the waiting position, a lock control means forcibly operates the restricting means regardless of the operation of the operating means, thereby locking the rotation of the foot pedal.

Foot pedal locking device for cargo-handling vehicle

A draw bar for a towing tractor includes a draw bar bracket mounted on a weight of the towing vehicle, a draw bar pin provided for axial movement in an insertion opening in the draw bar bracket, an actuating lever provided near a driver's seat of the towing tractor, and a link unit interconnecting the actuating lever and the draw bar pin for shifting the draw bar pin on actuation of the actuating lever. The link unit is provided in the weight through an opening formed in the vicinity of the draw bar bracket of the weight and an opening formed in the vicinity of the actuating lever.
