Disclosed is a liquid-sealed cartridge that includes: a liquid storage portion configured to store liquid; a flow path in which the liquid stored in the liquid storage portion flows; and a liquid sealing portion configured to seal the liquid in the liquid storage portion, in which the liquid sealing portion has an outer circumferential portion and a center-side low strength portion disposed closer to a center than the outer circumferential portion, and the center-side low strength portion is broken when pressed, to allow the liquid in the liquid storage portion to flow in the flow path.

Disclosed is a liquid-sealed cartridge in which a liquid is transferred by a centrifugal force generated when the liquid-sealed cartridge is rotated around a rotation shaft, including: a liquid storage portion configured to store the liquid therein; a seal having an outer peripheral portion connected to the liquid storage portion, the seal being configured to seal the liquid storage portion; a flow path connected to the liquid storage portion via the seal, through which the liquid in the liquid storage portion is transferred by the centrifugal force in a direction away from the rotation shaft, wherein, when the seal receives a pressing force, the seal is inclined in a pressing direction, with one portion of the outer peripheral portion thereof remaining connected with the liquid storage portion, and the other portion of the outer peripheral portion being separated from the liquid storage portion.

Liquid-sealed cartridge and liquid transferring method

This liquid-sealed cartridge includes: a cartridge body including a plurality of liquid storage portions; a seal body configured to seal an opening of each of the plurality of liquid storage portions; and an elastic body disposed so as to be opposed to the plurality of liquid storage portions, the elastic body being configured to form a passage adjacent to the plurality of liquid storage portions. Each of the plurality of liquid storage portions and the passage are configured to be communicated with each other by the corresponding seal body being pushed to be opened through the elastic body.

Liquid-sealed cartridge, specimen analyzer, and specimen analysis method

A separation device includes a casing and a first and a second rotation blade. A pulverization chamber is defined between the casing, the first, and the second rotation blade. Operating an urging device and at least one of the first and the second rotation blades, creates channeling vortices within the pulverization chamber. Fly ash containing unburned carbon is feed into the pulverization chamber, and through at least repeated self-collision, unburned carbon is segregated and reduced in size while remaining particular matter is similarly segregated and reduced in size. A method implements the separation device and provides simple results.
