A vehicle detection device includes: a first signal obtaining section which obtains a first signal corresponding to a distance to a subject object; a second signal obtaining section which obtains a second signal corresponding to a solid angle formed by the subject object; and a vehicle determining section which determines, based on the first and second signals, that the subject object is a vehicle, in a case where an actual size of the subject object is equal to or greater than a predetermined size.

The present invention provides a swing door opening/closing detection system capable of accurately discriminating an opening/closing position of door main bodies to accordingly prevent the malfunction of the door main bodies. The swing door opening/closing detection system includes: door main bodieswhich are rotatably provided and which rotate to open/close relative to an opening part; driving partsrotary driving the door main bodies; a control partcontrolling the rotary driving of the door main bodiesby the driving parts; a sensing part() attached to the door main bodiesto sense a person or an object in sensing areas on paths of the door main bodies; a deformation partdeforming according to the rotational operation of the door main bodies; and a discriminating part() which discriminates the opening/closing position of the door main bodiesbased on a deformation amount of the deformation partto control the control partbased on the discrimination result.

Swing door opening/closing detection system

Sensor(s) may be such that light-projecting component(s) and light-receiving component(s) are arranged therein. Furthermore, such sensor(s) may be provided with optical path varying means for varying projected light optical path(s) and/or received light optical path(s) so as to physically vary overlapping zone(s) in which the projected light optical path(s) and the received light optical path(s) at least partially overlap. Optical detection sensor

Sensor(s) may be such that light-projecting component(s), at which light is irradiated from one or more light-projecting elements by way of lens group(s); and light-receiving component(s), at which at least a portion of light irradiated from such light-projecting component(s) is incident on one or more light-receiving elements by way of lens group(s) after having been reflected, are arrayed therein. Lens group(s) is/are divided into a plurality of lens sets comprising a plurality of lenses. A plurality of lens sets are arranged so as to be inclined in V-shaped fashion such that a plurality of lenses occupy respectively symmetric locations.

To solve the misconnection, the light acceptance data based on the signals from the receiversare exchanged between each other, before they are supplied to the data acquisition means

Sensor for automatic doors

Auxiliary sensors and are disposed on exterior and interior side surfaces and of a transom . The sensors and have detection areas A , A , B and B which extend through the doorway and which cross each other in a space vertically above a track . While detection signals are produced by both auxiliary sensors and , the door is kept open. If detection signals are produced from only one of the auxiliary sensors and uninterruptedly for a predetermined time, the door closing action is allowed to start.
