A flavor inhaler () comprises a cup () having a cup shape. The cup is inserted into the holder () in a direction in which an opening of the cup is directed toward the ignition end side and a bottom plate () of the cup is arranged at the non-ignition end side. The cup has a claw portion () that protrudes into an inside of the cup from an inner wall surface of a side wall () of the cup. The claw portion has at least an engagement portion (A) that engages an end surface of the combustion type heat source () in a non-ignition end side.

Flavor inhaler and cup

A smokeless flavor inhalator includes a tobacco material as a flavor generator, and a heater for heating the tobacco material to allow flavor components to be released from the tobacco material while preventing smoke from being generated from the tobacco material. The heater has a carbon heat source and a cooling element. The carbon heat source and the cooling element cooperatively keep the heating temperature of the tobacco material at a temperature of 50 to 200&#xb0; C.

Smokeless flavor inhalator

A paper tube that can be used in a flavor-suctioning tool. The paper tube () of a single layer of a thick paper is formed into a hollow cylinder shape by rolling a rectangular thick paper () into a cylindrical shape thereby forming an overlapped part () where two edges overlap, and by adhering the two edges to one another at the overlapped part (). The thick paper () has a basis weight of 100 to 300 g/m, a thickness of 150 to 500 &#x3bc;m, and a density of 0.5 g/cmor greater. The diameter of the cylinder is 5 mm to 8 mm. A plurality of grooves () that are parallel to an axis (CL) of the cylinder are disposed in the outer circumferential surface or the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder.
