An imaging device includes a light source capable of emitting multi-types of illumination light beams, an imaging unit including an imaging element driven by a rolling shutter method, a light source control unit, a frame image control unit, and an image generation unit. The frame image control unit controls the light source control unit and the imaging unit so as to obtain an output having a frame group, in which second exposure frames Exp2 and Exp4 are respectively disposed before and after a first exposure frame Exp3, as one period. The imaging signal generation unit generates an imaging signal according to illumination light using a ratio of a period from the exposure start timing of each horizontal pixel line to the switching timing of the illumination light and a period from the switching timing of the illumination light to the exposure end timing in the first and second exposure frames.

Rolling shutter imaging device and endoscope apparatus including the same

A wide dimming dynamic range and high dimming resolution are obtained without causing a variation in the amount of received light due to pulse illumination light in each line of an imaging element. An imaging device includes a light source emitting light by pulse driving, a light source control unit controlling the amount of emitted light by performing pulse modulation driving of the light source, and an imaging unit including an imaging element, in which a plurality of pixels are arrayed in a horizontal and vertical direction, and performs imaging by driving the imaging element using a rolling shutter method. The light source control unit performs pulse driving of the light source at a timing synchronized with a timing pulse signal having, as a period, 1/p (p is an integer of 1 or more) of the exposure start timing interval when driving the imaging element using the rolling shutter method.

An illumination unit includes semiconductor light sources, a target light quantity setting unit for setting a target light quantity for a total outgoing light quantity, a light quantity ratio setting unit for setting an outgoing light quantity ratio among the semiconductor light sources, an amplitude value setting unit for setting amplitude values of driving signals for the semiconductor light sources based on the set outgoing light quantity ratio and a driving signal generating unit for generating the driving signals by use of common pulse modulation control while keeping the set amplitude values. When the target light quantity is set, a driving pulse signal corresponding to the target light quantity is set in common among the semiconductor light sources. The driving pulse signal is formed to have amplitude values corresponding to the outgoing light quantity ratio to generate individual driving signals for driving the semiconductor light sources respectively.

Illumination unit and endoscopic apparatus

The endoscope system includes an endoscope, a control unit, a beam source control unit and a type check unit. The endoscope has a radiation optical system for radiating a beam from a beam source onto a subject and an imaging optical system including an imaging device. The endoscope is removably connected to the control unit. The beam source control unit controls the emission beam intensity of the beam source according to a beam quantity specified value input from the control unit. The type check unit checks a type of the imaging device mounted on the endoscope. The beam source control unit has a plurality of control patterns representing a relationship between the beam quantity specified value and a control output value, switches to any one of the control patterns according to the check results, and controls the emission beam intensity according to the switched control pattern.

Endoscope system

The endoscope beam source apparatus includes a beam source for emitting a radiation beam to be supplied to the endoscope, and a beam source control unit for controlling the emission beam intensity of the beam source according to a beam quantity specified value input therein. The beam source control unit specifies the emission beam intensity corresponding to the beam quantity specified value based on at least three of control amounts. The control amounts include a control amount corresponding to pulse number modulation (PNM) control for changing lighting time of the beam source, a control amount corresponding to pulse width modulation (PWM) control for changing a plus width which indicates the lighting or lighting-out time within a control cycle, a control amount corresponding to pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) control for changing the lighting intensity, and a control amount corresponding to pulse density modulation (PDM) control for changing a lighting interval.

Endoscope beam source apparatus and endoscope system

An object of the present invention is to provide a cereal flour raw material that can provide products having superb texture. A further object of the present invention is to provide a food product manufactured using such a cereal flour raw material. The present invention provides a cereal flour composition that contains wheat flour prepared from a type of wheat that does not express the three wheat starch synthase II proteins, and also does not express the three wheat granule bound starch synthase proteins, and another type of cereal flour; and a food product manufactured using such a cereal flour composition.

In a display apparatus that includes an active matrix substrate on which multiple pixel circuits are disposed, each having a light emitting element, a drive transistor, a capacitor element connected between a gate terminal and the source terminal of the drive transistor, and a selection transistor, and a threshold voltage of the drive transistor is corrected by causing the capacitor element to hold the threshold voltage of the drive transistor, reverse bias voltages, each having a magnitude corresponding to a preset initial threshold voltage and a drive voltage of the drive transistor, the magnitude of the drive voltage being dependent on the amount of emission of the light emitting element, are supplied to the gate terminal of the drive transistor.

A pixel circuit including a light emitting element, a driving transistor, connected to the light emitting element, that applies a drive current to the light emitting element, a holding circuit connected to a gate terminal of the driving transistor, and a switching transistor connected between the holding circuit and a data line through which a data signal to be held by the holding circuit flows, in which the driving transistor and the switching transistor are inorganic oxide thin film transistors whose OFF-operation threshold voltage is a negative voltage, and the holding circuit includes a first capacitor element connected between the switching transistor and the gate terminal of the driving transistor, and a second capacitor element connected between a point located between the first capacitor element and the gate terminal of the driving transistor and a voltage source that supplies a negative voltage.

Pixel circuit, display apparatus, and pixel circuit drive control method

A display device includes plural scan lines, plural data lines intersecting the of scan lines, plural discharge lines for the respective scan lines; and plural pixel circuits for respective intersections of the scan lines and the data lines. Each of the pixel circuits includes a driving transistor, a first diode in which the cathode is connected to a power supply voltage line and the anode is connected to the source of the driving transistor, a retention capacitor connected between the gate and the source of the driving transistor, a selection transistor in which one of the drain and the source being connected to a data line and the other being connected to the gate of the driving transistor, and a second diode in which the cathode is connected to a discharge line and the anode is connected to the source of the driving transistor.

Display apparatus and drive control method for the same

A radiation detecting apparatus includes a radiation conversion panel for detecting radiation that has passed through a subject and converting the detected radiation into radiation image information, and a casing for storing the radiation conversion panel as a roll when the subject is not being irradiated with radiation. When the subject is irradiated with radiation, the radiation conversion panel stored as a roll in the casing is unrolled and pulled out of the casing, and the radiation conversion panel is extended flatwise against the subject.
