A connector includes a housing; and an annular packing to be sandwiched between the housing and a mating component. The packing has: an annular seal portion protruding toward a radially outer side, and an annular depressed portion located on a surface of the seal portion on the radially inner side and depressed toward the radially outer side. An edge of the depressed portion is positioned on one side with respect to a protruding end of the seal portion. When the housing and the mating component are fitted to each other, the protruding end of the seal portion is in contact with the mating component, the edges of the depressed portion are in contact with the housing, and the end portion is displaced in a direction away from the housing to warp with a vicinity of the edge on the one side as a center.

Connector including packing having annular seal portion and annular depressed portion

A connector is provided with a connecting terminal, a connecting housing, and a front holder. The connecting housing includes a connecting terminal storing chamber, and a lance which is elastically deformable in order to store the connecting terminal into the terminal storing chamber and which is engageable with the connecting terminal in order to prevent the connecting terminal from removing when recovered from an elastic deformation. The front holder is supported to be movable to back and forth along the insertion direction and locked on a front end of the terminal storing chamber. The front holder is moved in the opposite direction to the insertion direction to be actually locked by pressure in a state that the front holder is temporarily locked and contacted with the connecting terminal to hold in a state that the front holder is actually locked.

Electrical connector with attitude maintaining structure

A connector is provided with a connector housing including an elastic engagement arm as a part to be engaged with a mate connector serving as a mate to which the connector is fitted and a terminal accommodation chamber which accommodates therein a terminal of an electric wire having a terminal, and a rear holder including a holder side engagement part engaged with a housing side engagement part provided in the connector housing so as to be connected to the connector housing at a position of a rear end side in a fitting direction to the mate connector.

Connector

A connector is fitted into a mating connector including a receiving member, and includes a locking arm for locking the receiving member. The locking arm includes an arm member which extends in a fitting direction to the mating connector, and a locking member which is provided at a tip end of the arm member or in the neighborhood thereof so as to project in a direction intersecting the direction of fitting, and locks the receiving member. The locking member includes a claw which is formed at a tip end of the locking member so as to project in a direction opposite to the fitting direction to the mating connector and is caught by the receiving member.

Connector with a claw of locking member

The present invention is to provide a connector seal allowing an accurate inspection of presence of an incorrectly formed bore in a terminal insertion bore of the connector seal. A connector seal includes a seal main body and a plurality of terminal insertion bores. Each terminal insertion bore has an upper membrane potion and a lower membrane portion, which are spaced one another and interconnected together with a lamella. Preferably, the terminal insertion bore has a membrane, which includes a substantially curved groove and a substantially curved lamella. Preferably, the terminal insertion bore has a membrane which includes a lamella, the lamella being oriented in a direction coincident with a diagonal line of a rectangular cross-section of a terminal so that corners of the terminal hit opposite ends of the lamella.

Connector seal

A multi-unit connector is formed by mounting a plurality of unit connectors, in which a terminal is received in a terminal receiving section of a housing, into a connector frame. The housing includes a front opening, and the connector frame includes a wall covering the front opening. The wall has a hole for terminal insertion, and a positioning rib projectingly. The terminal is positioned without rattling by supporting the terminal between the positioning rib and an inner wall at a side opposite to the positioning rib of the terminal receiving section. The positioning rib is provided with a slant surface for supporting the terminal. Furthermore, an additional positioning rib is arranged symmetrically against the positioning rib about a center of the hole and the slant surfaces for supporting a top end of the terminal are formed facing to each other at the positioning rib and the additional positioning rib.

Multi-unit connector

A fixation structure for a rear cover () in which a waterproofing grommet () is fixed to the wire lead-out side (), from which a wire from a connector housing () is led out, of a connector () and which is assembled to the wire lead-out side () of the connector for () with the waterproofing grommet () in between. The grommet () is provided with a rib () that is in contact with the inner wall (protrusion ()) () to hold the attitude of the grommet () relative to the rear cover ().

Rear-cover attachment structure

A lever insertion hole () for inserting a lever () is provided in a female housing (). A rib () and a flexible lever-holding lock () are arranged on the inner wall (A) of the lever insertion hole (). The rib () enables the lever () to be inserted, through a key groove () axially provided in the outer peripheral surface of the lever (), into the female housing () only when the lever () is at a predetermined rotational position. The rib () and the lever-holding lock () are together in contact with a wall section () of a coming-out prevention groove (), provided in the lever (), to hold the lever () from coming out.

Lever-fitting type connector with rotatably insertable locking lever

A waterproof connector, comprising a pair of male and female housings () engaged with each other. The waterproof connector also comprises a grommet () covering at least one of the housings () and a fastening member () inserted from the grommet () side into the pair of male and female housings () to connect them to each other. In addition, the grommet comprises a sealing part () having a predetermined length along the inserting direction of the fastening member () and formed integrally with a grommet body () at the outlet side end part () thereof.

Waterproof connector

A through-panel connector, comprising a female connector () and a male connector disposed on one side and the other side of panel () and fitted to each other through a mounting hole () formed in the panel (). The female connector () comprises a plurality of flexible holding ribs (). The holding ribs () are formed on the outer peripheral surface () of the female connector () opposed to the mounting hole inner peripheral surface () of the panel () so as to be extended along the inserting direction of the mounting hole () and separated from the outer peripheral surface () while being extended from the base end part () to the tip part () of the female connector () along the mounting hole inner peripheral surface (). The holding ribs () are biased and held on the mounting hole inner peripheral surface () with the female connector () fitted to the panel ().

Through-panel connector

A lever-fit connector, wherein a rotation prevention lock () preventing a lever () from being rotated when male and female connector housing are fitted (joined) to each other is installed in the inner wall (A) of a lever insert hole () in a female housing (). A rotation lock recessed part () in which the rotation lock part (D) of the rotation prevention lock () is engageably stored is formed in the peripheral surface of the lever (). The angle of the rotation lock part (D) is set so that the rotation lock part (D) is drawn to the lever () side in excessive rotation by bringing the rotation lock part (D) into contact with the side wall surface (B) of the rotation lock recessed part ().

Lever-fitting type connector

A lever type connector is provided with a lever assisting in fitting or detaching first and second connector housings thereof. A lever is fitted to the first connector housing. A plurality of projecting parts is provided in a circumference of the lever. A plurality of receiving parts is provided in the first connector housing to slidably engage with the projecting part. Engagement between the projecting and receiving parts prevents the lever from deformation and warpage in a rotating operation of the lever for the connecting operation. The projecting parts and the receiving parts are configured so that the projecting parts and the receiving parts are engaged only when the lever is positioned so that the fitting force is large in the rotating operation, and the projecting parts and the receiving parts are not engaged when the lever is positioned in another state in which the fitting force is small.

Lever type connector

A connector set is provided with a first member including a locking device having a proximal portion formed as a protrusion ranging in parallel with an axis of the first member, a resilient beam extending from the proximal portion and being elastically deformable along the proximal portion, and a locking projection projecting from the resilient beam; and a second member configured to receive the first member in a direction of the axis of the first member, the second member including an engaging portion configured to latch the locking projection.

Connector set with a locking device

A lever type connector of the present invention includes a connector housing, a cover, a lever rotatably mounted on the connector housing, and a snap tab mounted on the cover. During rotation of the lever from an unlocking position to a locking position, the snap tab is pressed by the lever and bent, and if the lever reaches the locking position, the snap tab is brought back to lock the lever. The maximum bent inward angle of the snap tab is set to be smaller than the outward inclination angle of the snap tab without being bent. It is possible to prevent contact between the snap tab and the electric wires. The electric wires are prevented from being damaged, and the operation failure of the snap tab is also avoided.

In a lever-fitting type connector, a moving plate is accommodated in a hood part of the male connector housing. The moving plate includes a plurality of temporary engagement parts that can be slidably and temporarily engaged with the male connector housing. These temporary engagement parts are arranged on lines perpendicular to a center axis of a lever in engagement with the male connector housing. The temporary engagement part is positioned on one side of the center axis, while the other temporary engagement parts are positioned on the other side of the center axis.
