The body and core make a rear side-face section, which is disposed beneath a rear face of the core, within a side face in the substrate. The first skin segment covers a front face of the body, and a front face of the core. The second skin segment covers a rear face of the body. Clip

A long hole of a seat plate member is fittingly inserted to a fitting head portion provided on an upper surface of a flat plate portion of a clip in an upright posture, so as to attach the clip to the cutaway groove portion with the seat plate member in contact with a flat plate portion, and the fitting head portion is fitted to a long hole formed in an attachment receiving member. As the fitting head portion is fitted to the long hole, the boss portion moves within the cutaway groove portion to bring the seat plate member into contact with the attachment receiving member and to elastically lock a pair of elastic locking pieces with the periphery of each longer side portion of the long hole.

A container holder includes a holder body, a supporting member, an actuator, and a switch. The supporting member is disposed movably to the holder body. The holder body demarcates an accommodation space for accommodating or holding a container therein partially. The actuator includes a first actuating unit, being made of a ferromagnet, and a second actuating unit, being made of an electromagnet. Moreover, one of the actuator's first actuating unit and second actuating unit is fixed to the holder body, and the other one of the actuator's first actuating unit and second actuating unit is fixed to the supporting member. The switch turns on and off the actuator's second actuating unit to have the electromagnet produce and lose an electromagnetic force. The resulting electromagnetic force moves the supporting member to come in and/or come out of the holder body's accommodation space.

Container holder

A lock system includes a lock mechanism for holding a lid element in a locked state, an electric actuator for driving the lock mechanism to an unlocking side based on an operation of an open switch, and a key cylinder adapted to be operated to rotate by a key so as to be switched through the rotational operation to an 'UNLOCK' position where the open switch is enabled to function and a 'LOCK' position where the open switch is disabled from functioning, whereby unlocking of the lid element is prohibited through a rotational operation of the key cylinder to the &#x201c;LOCK&#x201d; position. An operating unit of the lock system causes the key cylinder and the lock mechanism to be mechanically linked with each other by a wire cable, whereby the lock mechanism is forcibly driven to the unlocking side through a rotational operation of the key cylinder to the &#x201c;OPEN&#x201d; position.

Lock system of small article compartment in vehicle

When an operation wall of an inner member is inserted into an insertion portion of an outer member and an engagement piece does not receive a cam operation due to a slanted cam portion, contact pieces of the outer member do not correspond to a positioning hole of the inner member and are located in a position so as not to be inserted into the positioning hole. When the outer member is inserted into an attachment hole of an attachment receiving member with maintaining a state where the engagement piece does not receive the cam operation due to the slanted cam portion, the contact pieces are elastically deformed inwardly and located in a position so as to be inserted into the positioning hole.

In an on-board display apparatus, a transmission type display device is provided in front, displays a touch switch display when necessary, and operates as a touch panel. The transmission type display device can be turned to be transparent, and an image display device is provided rearward of the transparent portion. Since the display screen of the image display device toward the back, the visual range is long, and visibility can be improved. Since the display screen of the image display device and the display screen of the transmission type display device are not on the same plane, even if the touch switch display is touched by a finger, an image can be seen, and a pointer can be displayed on the display screen of the image display device in a position corresponding to the touched position.

Display apparatus

The storage box includes an opening/closing mechanism. At a first stage, sliding of a lid relative to a box main body partially opens an opening. At a second stage, pivoting of the lid relative to the box main body fully opens the opening. At a third stage, pivoting of the lid relative to the box main body partially closes the opening. At a fourth stage, sliding of the lid relative to the box main body fully closes the opening. The first elastic member exerts elastic force for sliding the lid at the fourth stage. The second elastic member exerts elastic force for pivoting the lid at the second stage.

Storage box with opening/closing mechanism

A console is attached to brackets fixed to a floor panel of a vehicle. Each bracket has a pair of fitting holes. The console includes a console body having a rectangular bottom wall. An insertion hole is formed in each of the four corners of the bottom wall. Each insertion hole corresponds to one of the fitting holes. Clips are provided at portions of the bottom wall, each portion corresponding to one of the insertion holes. Each clip has two fitting portions that are arranged to face each other. When each clip is inserted into the corresponding fitting hole, the fitting portions are fitted to an inner wall of the fitting hole so that the console body is attached to the brackets. With the clips inserted into the fitting holes, a fastening member having two legs is inserted into each insertion hole so that the legs are located between the corresponding fitting portions to prevent the clip from being removed from the fitting hole.

Mounting structure for console

A console module is installed on the floor panel of a vehicle and includes a console main body, an electronic component, and an installation base. The installation base is located between the console main body and the floor panel. Both of the console main body and the electronic component are installed on the floor panel by means of the installation base. The installation base has first and second console brackets for securing the console main body to the floor panel, and a case for accommodating the electronic component. The installation base further includes a pair of rails that extend along the vehicle fore-and-aft direction between the case and the second console bracket.
