An object of the present disclosure is to generate a click feeling, and thus improve workability, in attaching a trim strip member to a sealing member, and to increase a retaining force retaining the trim strip member to the sealing member after the attachment, without an increase in the number of components and the number of assembling steps. A glass run includes a trim stripattached to a side of an upper glass runfacing outside of the passenger compartment. A trim strip holding memberhaving a front engagement portionthat engages with the trim stripis fixed at a front side of the upper glass run. The trim strip holding memberis made of a rigid material.

Automotive door glass run

A die molded part of a glass run connects an upper part of a second extrusion molded part closer to a pillar with an end of a first extrusion molded part closer to a roof. An insert panel is embedded in the die molded part with a concave shaped part of the insert panel exposed toward an exterior of an automobile. An outer garnish couples to the die molded part from the exterior of the automobile by fitting a convex shaped part of the outer garnish into the concave shaped part of the insert panel with a second anchoring part on the convex shaped part engaging with a first anchoring part on the concave shaped part. The concave shaped part includes a through hole which penetrates the insert panel in an inner-cabin and outer-cabin direction. A lid closes an inner-cabin side of the through hole.

Corner part structure of glass run

There is provided a weather strip for a folding top of an open car installed in a divided manner both sides thereof in the proximity of divided rails. Each divided member comprises a hollow seal portion and a seal lip portion comprised for resilient contacts with a door glass. Each divided member comprises a die mold part in a front and a rear end portion. The seal lip portion of each divided member comprises a thick part. The thick part is formed thicker than a thin part. The thick part is provided with a thickness for a front end surface and a rear end surface of adjoining seal lip portions that are located next to each other to make a resilient contact with each other even if the seal lip portion is deformed in the folding top when the folding top is in a closed position.

Weather strip for folding top

A weather strip is made up of a base for engaging with a door sash by way of a retainer, a hollow seal and a seal lip integrally connected to an indoor side and an outdoor side of the base respectively, the hollow seal and the seal lip elastically contacting an edge portion of a body panel opening edge, and a main solid rubber portion formed in an outer side pillar portion of the hollow seal, wherein an auxiliary solid rubber portion is formed in an outer side projection portion of the base, with a sponge rubber portion provided between the main solid rubber portion and the auxiliary solid rubber portion. As a result, it is possible to provide a weather strip having excellent inserting performance into the retainer.
