Provided is a passenger conveyor including a plurality of steps () having step rollers (and), a step chain () circulatingly moving in conjunction with each of the plurality of steps (), guide rails (and) provided in an intermediate portion of a truss and guiding the step rollers (and) of each step (), and an intermediate driving device () provided in the intermediate portion of the truss and configured to transmit a driving force to the step chain (). A step-attitude changing zone (Z) for changing the attitude of each step () on a return path side is provided on the traveling path of the steps () on the return path side.

Passenger conveyor

A highly efficient electromagnetic actuator which can reduce leakage of the magnetic flux is provided. The electromagnetic actuator comprises a first coil, a movable bodyadapted to move on the central axis of the first coil, a first statorcovering the top face, bottom face and outer peripheral face of the first coil, and a permanent magnetadapted to firmly latch the movable bodyat one end point of its movable range. A second statoradapted to control the magnetic flux generated from the permanent magnetis provided in succession with the first stator. By providing the second stator, when releasing the movable bodyfrom its firmly latched state, the permanent magnetis not inversely excited or demagnetized.

Electromagnetic actuator

A conveyor apparatus comprises step chains which couple a plurality of steps such that the steps, and driving units which drive the chains. Each of the driving units comprises a power unit comprising a motor, and a driving machine including pulleys and belts that reduce a rotation speed of the motor so as to meet a required reduction gear ratio and transfer the rotation speed to the chains, and a pair of right and left driving mechanisms that convert a rotary movement transferred from the machine of the power unit via an eccentric shaft into a movement of rocking units, and apply a propelling force to the chains via pin rollers provided at any one of sides of the rocking units and the chains and gears provided at the other side of the rocking units and the chains to engage with the rollers.

Conveyor apparatus

An apparatus for tracking an overhead line includes a carriage, an arm provided relatively movable on the carriage, a hook assembly provided at both end portions of the arm and for slinging the arm over the overhead line, a vertical/rotational motion shaft provided vertically movable and rotatably on the carriage, a wheel supporting arm provided on the top end portion of the vertical/rotational motion shaft swingably, a pair of wheels provided at both ends of the wheel supporting arm with an extension line of the vertical/rotational motion shaft being between the wheels, and a clamp member for clamping the wheels on the overhead line.
