A money handling system includes a money handling machine that has a money storage unit for storing money, and a money recycling unit for temporarily storing money taken from the exterior of the money handling machine after the money is recognized. The money recycling unit is adapted to feed the money temporarily stored therein to the money storage unit and/or to dispense the temporarily stored money to the exterior of the money handling machine. A wrapped-coin dispensing unit for storing wrapped coins and for dispensing the wrapped coins to the exterior of the money handling machine is also provided. The control unit () controls an insertion unit (), a transport unit (), a storing unit () and an escrow unit (), so as to automatically perform a dispensing process for feeding the money corresponding to the predetermined amount of the fund money from the storing unit () to a dispensing unit (), after the control unit () serves to perform a depositing process for taking the money into a casing () from the exterior thereof via the insertion unit (), and then feeding the money taken in the casing () to the escrow unit ().

Money handling machine

In an oscillation detection circuit an internal voltage is compared with an oscillation detection level corresponding to a reference voltage plus a predetermined variation and when a voltage having a level higher than the oscillation detection level is observed a predetermined number of times within a predetermined period of time a decision is made that the internal voltage is in oscillation and an oscillation detection signal having the high level is output. In the internal power supply voltage down conversion circuit when a p-channel MOS transistor receives the oscillation detection signal of the high level the transistor turns off to interrupt a current supplied from a drive transistor to an internal power supply node.

A bare chip is provided with a pad for activation/deactivation control to which a deactivation control signal for converting a bare chip that has been detected as being defective into the deactivated condition is inputted. When a deactivation control signal is inputted to the pad for activation/deactivation control, internal circuit prevent a signal that has been inputted from the pad for data input/output control from being inputted to an internal circuit located further inside than the input buffer circuit. Thereby, the bare chip that has been detected as being defective can be converted to the deactivated condition. As a result, a semiconductor memory module can be obtained that can be repaired by newly mounting a good function chip without allowing the bare chip that has been detected as being defective to interfere with the functions of the semiconductor memory module.

The power supply tuning circuit in accordance with the present invention is provided with a plurality of power supply circuits. Each power supply circuit includes a latch circuit. The latch circuit records a tuning signal. The recorded tuning signal causes the corresponding transistor to switch on/off. In this manner, pseudo-tuning is performed. After a tuning signal is supplied to the latch circuit, the tuning signal is supplied to another power-supply circuit. Thus, pseudo-tuning can be preformed simultaneously for a plurality of power supply circuits.

An external terminal and an internal power supply node to an internal circuit are connected via first and second transistors. In a test operation mode, the first and second transisters are turned on and potential is accordingly supplied to the internal circuit from the terminal. In a normal operation mode, a third transistor placed between the terminal and the gate of the first transistor is turned on so that the gate of the first transistor is coupled to the external terminal and the second transistor is turned off. Undershoot to the terminal is not transmitted to the inside since the first transistor is turned off.

First and second global input/output lines are twisted between first and second main blocks. First and second SD signal lines in the first main block are respectively arranged adjacent to first and second global input/output lines. First and second SD signal lines in the second main block are respectively arranged adjacent to the second and first global input/output lines. An SD signal supplied for the first or second SD signal line makes noises applied to the first and second global input/output lines identical, so that an influence by the noises is substantially eliminated between the first and second global input/output lines. As a result, the global input/output line is provided with higher resistance to noise without any increase in a layout area.

Semiconductor memory device having hierarchical word line structure

A plurality of internal power supply voltage generating circuits generate internal power supply voltages. A column select signal at the same voltage level as a first internal power supply voltage applied to a sense amplifier is generated to an I/O gate circuit connecting a bit line pair and an internal data line pair together. A current driving capability of an I/O gate circuit is made relatively small, so that rapid change in potential on a sense node of a sense amplifier is prevented. Thereby, inversion of latched data of the sense amplifier due to collision of data is prevented in such a case voltages on the internal data line pair are not equalized sufficiently.
