An object of the invention is to provide an inkjet printer that forms an image with good quality. The object is achieved by an inkjet printerincluding an ink head H ejecting an ink, an ink supply unit P communicating with the ink head H, and an ink storage unit T communicating with the ink supply unit P and supplying the ink to the ink head H through the ink supply unit P, in which at least a part of the ink supply unit P has an ink heating unit S that heats the ink until a viscosity of the ink is within the range of 5 mPa&#xb7;s or more to 30 mPa&#xb7;s or less, and the ink storage unit T has a shearing device that shears the ink.

Inkjet printer and image formation method

An image formation device may include a recording head which has a plurality of nozzles inlet; a flow channel member which is connected to the inlet and forms a flow channel for supplying the discharge liquid to the recording head; and a heating section which heats the flow channel member. The flow channel member may include a first flow channel section one end of which is inserted into the inlet; and a second flow channel section that is a cylindrical member inside of which the first flow channel section passes through and that externally covers a connection part between the one end of the first flow channel section and the inlet. The second flow channel section may be connected with the first flow channel section and the inlet via an elastic member, and the one end of the first flow channel section and the inlet may be connected.

Image formation device

A recording medium transfer apparatus is provided with: an endless belt; a plurality of transfer rollers, which intermittently rotate the endless belt; a slide unit, which can freely move back and forth between the initial position and the end position of the endless belt; a driving device, which returns the slide unit to the initial position from the end position; a linear encoder, which detects a transfer amount of the slide unit; a calculation unit, which calculates a transfer amount of the recording medium on the basis of the detection results obtained from the linear encoder; and a control unit, which controls the transfer amount of the recording medium on the basis of the transfer amount. The slide unit engages with the endless belt at the initial position before the endless belt rotationally moves, then, moves with the rotational movement of the endless belt, and when the slide unit reaches the end position, the slide unit releases the engagement with the endless belt, and returns to the initial position by means of the driving device when the endless belt is stopped. The calculation unit calculates the transfer amount of the recording medium on the basis of the detection results obtained from the linear encoder, the detection results being the transfer amount of the slide unit from the initial position to the end position.

An inkjet printer, comprises a plurality of recording heads to jet ink onto a recording medium; an ink distributing device to distribute ink to the plurality of recording heads and having a damping action to the ink, the ink distributing device including, an ink chamber to store ink therein, an inlet section having an ink inlet port through which ink is fed from an outside into the ink chamber, and an outlet section having a plurality of ink outlet ports through which ink is discharged from the ink chamber; and a plurality of supplying pipes to distribute ink from the plurality of outlet ports to the plurality of recording heads.

There is provided an ink-jet printer for forming an image in a main scanning direction for each line. The ink-jet printer comprises a recording head to form an image, wherein a plurality of nozzles are arranged in an aligned direction in the recording head; a mounting section on which the recording head is mounted; a fixing member to apply an elastic force so as to fix the recording head on the mounting section; and an inclination adjusting member to push a side of the recoding head located along the aligned direction of the nozzles against the elastic force of the fixing member so as to displace the side of the recording head so that the inclination adjusting member adjusts an inclination of the aligned direction of the nozzles for the main scanning direction.

A recording sheet feeding apparatus comprises a tray frame with four vertical walls which surround an inner space, a stacking plate which is movable in the vertical direction within the inner space guided by the vertical walls, a winding roller for moving the stacking plate through a mechanical transmission which converts a rotation of the winding roller to the vertical movement of the stacking plate and a counterweight means for lifting up the stacking plate by applying a counterweight torque to the winding roller in accordance with the rotation angle thereof.
