An optical-electric composite cable includes a cable unit, at least one metal wire, and a sheath. The cable unit includes at least one optical fiber and a twisted pair wire twisted with the at least one optical fiber. The at least one metal wire is disposed around the cable unit. The sheath surrounds the cable unit and the at least one metal wire.

Optical-electric composite cable and method for manufacturing the same

A signal transmission cable of the present invention comprises a terminal part electrically connectable to an external device, and a cable including metal wires of eight or more channels that are electrically connectable to the terminal part, the terminal part has a substrate including a plurality of connection parts that are electrically connectable to the external device and connected respectively to the metal wires of the individual channels included in the cable, and the metal wires of the mutually different channels that are adjacently connected at the plurality of connection parts are arranged so as not to be adjacent to each other inside the cable.

Signal transmission cable

An intelligent cable is disclosed. The cable provides a connector and a metal core. The connector is pluggably coupled with an external apparatus and enclosing a circuit unit electrically connected to an external apparatus. The metal core is electrically connected to the circuit unit in the connector. The circuit unit includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter receives input signals from the external apparatus and outputs a transmitted signal to the metal core. The receiver receives the transmitted signal from the metal core and provides output signals to the external apparatus. A feature of the cable is that the transmitter modulates the input signals and the receiver de-modulates the transmitted signal both by the PAM configuration.

Cable implementing active connector for modulating differential signals by PAM configuration

A cable for transmitting signals between two systems is disclosed. The cable provides a connector, which encloses a circuit unit comprising at least one of a transmitter and a receiver and plugged with the system, and a co-axial cable pulled out from the connector. The circuit unit includes at least a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter receives an input signal in the differential form from the system and outputs a transmitting signal in the single-ended form to the co-axial cable. The receiver receives the transmitting signal in the single-ended form from the co-axial cable and outputs an output signal in the differential form to the system.
