Obtained is a power conversion device that suppresses size increase thereof while improving cooling performance for a smoothing capacitor. The power conversion device includes: a cooler having a cooling surface on an outer side thereof and a flow path on an inner side thereof, the flow path being formed such that a coolant flows through the flow path; and a smoothing capacitor fixed to the cooler, the smoothing capacitor being thermally connected to the cooling surface with a heat transfer member therebetween and configured to smooth DC power. A thickness of the heat transfer member between the smoothing capacitor and a portion, of the cooling surface, to which the smoothing capacitor is thermally connected is set to be smaller than a wall thickness of the cooler between the flow path and the portion, of the cooling surface, to which the smoothing capacitor is thermally connected.

An imaging apparatus has a color filter array, an image sensor, and a differential information acquisition unit. In the color filter array, including five or more types of color filters are arranged in a two dimensional form. The image sensor has a plurality of pixels covered by the color filters, and the plurality of pixels generate pixel signals. The acquisition unit designates one of the pixels covered by the color filters of interest as a pixel of interest one pixel at a time in order. The acquisition unit calculates first differential information based on pixel signals generated by two of the pixels arranged on both sides of the pixel of interest along the first direction. The acquisition unit calculates second differential information based on pixel signals generated by two of the pixels arranged on both sides of the pixel of interest along the second direction.

An image capturing apparatus includes a first image sensor unit, a second image sensor unit, and a spatial frequency reduction unit. An image processing system includes a photographing apparatus and a processing apparatus. The photographing apparatus includes LEDs for emitting light with characteristics of spectroscopic distributions varied in a visible light area, an image pick-up device unit which picks-up a subject image that is illuminated by the LEDs and is formed by an image pick-up optical system and which outputs an image signal, and a control unit.
