To implement an image processing device capable of improving rear visibility of a mobile object, the image processing device includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquire a video from an imaging device that generates images of a rear of a mobile object; a display control unit configured to cause a display unit to display a first range in the video acquired by the acquisition unit; and a detection unit configured to detect a predetermined target based on the video acquired by the acquisition unit. When the detection unit detects the predetermined target, the display control unit causes the display unit to display the video in a second range different from the first range.

An image capturing apparatus that is made compact in the size of an apparatus body, particularly the lateral size thereof, without impairing operability thereof. An image capturing apparatus having a forced air cooling function and capable of having an accessory attached thereto includes an image capturing apparatus body. A lens mount is provided on the apparatus body and can have a shooting lens removably attached thereto. An attachment portion is provided on the apparatus body and can have the accessory removably attached thereto. A built-in microphone is arranged on a side of a surface of the apparatus body, different from any of a surface where an air outlet port for discharging air used for forced cooling is arranged, a surface where the lens mount is arranged, and a surface where the attachment portion is arranged. The built-in microphone is arranged at a location closer to a top surface of the image capturing apparatus body than a bottom surface thereof.

In a case where the operating member is rotated in the predetermined direction, the operating member pushes an end of the swinging member to rotate the operating member, the swinging member, and the rotating portion integrally with one another.

One of a grip and an image capture apparatus body includes a first attachment part formed by a first screw, a first electrical connection part disposed outside the first screw, and a first engagement part formed outside the first electrical connection part. The other of them includes a second attachment part formed by a second screw and screwed with the first screw, a second electrical connection part disposed outside the second screw, and electrically connected to the first electrical connection part, and a second engagement part formed outside the second electrical connection part, and engaged with the first engagement part. When the first and second screws are screwed, the first and second engagement parts are engaged, and the first and second electrical connection parts are electrically connected.

An image pickup apparatus which is capable of efficiently cooling itself using a general-purpose ice pack so as to be able to shoot without heating an exterior surface thereof to a high temperature even under a high temperature environment. A cooling unit of the image pickup apparatus has a first duct having an inlet, a second duct connected to the first duct, and a third duct having an outlet and connected to the second duct. The second duct is thermally connected to a first heat source, the third duct is thermally connected to a second heat source that generates a larger amount of heat than the first heat source, and air taken in through the inlet passes through the first duct, the second duct, and the third duct in this order and is discharged through the outlet.

A power system stabilizer issues a control command to a first storage battery among a plurality of first power generators and the first storage battery that are connected to an isolated island system via a first tie-line. The power system stabilizer includes a parameter determination unit and a control block unit. The parameter determination unit obtains, on the basis of operation information, a rate-of-change limit value that indicates a limit to be imposed on a total value of changes in the overall output of first power generators in operation. The control block unit generates a command value to be given to the first storage battery on the basis of an interconnection point power flow value measured on the first tie-line and the rate-of-change limit value obtained by the parameter determination unit.

A control device that controls a plurality of air conditioners includes a data memory section for storing performance model data representing the relationship between air conditioning capability and power consumption for each of the plurality of air conditioners. An overall air conditioning load calculating section calculates an overall load that is the sum of air conditioning loads of the plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses. An air conditioning capability allocation calculating section an air conditioning capability for each of the plurality of air conditioners on the basis of the performance model data and the overall load so that the sum of the air conditioning capability of the plurality of air conditioners is the overall load and the sum of the power consumption of the plurality of air conditioners is minimum. A control signal section sends a control signal related to the air conditioning capability to each of the plurality of air conditioners.

Air-conditioning apparatus control device and refrigerating apparatus control device

An intracardiac defibrillation catheter system equipped with a defibrillation catheter, a power source device and an electrocardiograph. The defibrillation catheter is equipped with a first DC electrode group and a second DC electrode group. The power source device is equipped with a DC power source unit, a catheter-connected connector, an electrocardiograph-connected connector, an arithmetic processing unit, which controls the DC power source unit and has an output circuit for outputting a direct current voltage from the DC power source unit, and a changeover unit, in which the catheter-connected connector is connected to a common contact. The electrocardiograph-connected connector is connected to a first contact, and the arithmetic processing unit is connected to a second contact. In the intracardiac defibrillation catheter system, electric energy necessary and sufficient for defibrillation can be surely supplied. The defibrillation catheter can be used as an electrode catheter for cardiac potential measurement when a defibrillation treatment is not performed.

In a power system stabilization system for stabilizing a small-scale electric power system to which electric power generated by a rotating power generator is supplied, an electric water heater receives electric power from the electric power system and heats water, a system frequency measuring device measures system frequency of the electric power system, and a hot water controller increases the power consumption of the electric water heater when the system frequency exceeds a reference frequency, and decreases the power consumption of the electric water heater when the system frequency is less than the reference frequency.

A power generator controller includes a power system monitor and a power generator output optimizing part. The power system monitor keeps check on current status of a power system and puts out an electricity demand. The power generator output optimizing part solves an objective function for determining outputs of power generators of the power system at an interval under a supply and demand balancing constraint which imposes agreement between electric power demanded and electric power supplied. The objective function minimizes total costs in power generation. The power generator output optimizing part solves the objective function further considering an automatic frequency control capacity constraint based on an upper limit of rates of change of outputs of power generators of the power system.

A neural network apparatus and method for use in applications such as in a voltage/reactive-power controller in which a neuro control-object simulator and a neuro controller pre-learn so as to make input-output relations of the controller match the input-output relations of a control unit and so as to make input-output relations of the simulator match input-output relations of a control object. The controller re-learns so as to make the output of the simulator match an input corresponding to a desired output of the control object. After re-learning, the controller controls the control-object.
