When reversing a direction in which an angle is adjusted by a first adjustment section and reversing a direction in which a posture is adjusted by a second adjustment section, a control section of a seat provides, before a timing at which a driving direction of a second driving section is reversed, a stop period for stopping the second adjustment section from adjusting the posture, and the control section causes the first adjustment section to carry out a preparation operation in advance during the stop period.

Seat and control method

A rocking device includes: a seat which supports a body of a user; a motor which rotates a rotation shaft in a first rotation direction and in a second rotation direction that is a rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction, and thereby supplies motive power for rocking the seat via a gear attached to the rotation shaft; and a controller which controls rocking of the seat via the motor. The seat is configured to make a first motion of moving in a first movement direction, in accordance with rotation of the rotation shaft in the first rotation direction, and make a second motion of moving in a second movement direction, in accordance with rotation of the rotation shaft in the second rotation direction. The controller is configured to control rocking of the seat such that a prescribed stopped period is provided between the first motion and second motion.

Rocking device and control method

A vehicle seat includes a back frame mounted on a cushion frame via a recliner in a pivotally movable manner. The back frame has a support member connected to the recliner, and a seat back shell supported by the support member. The support member has a side plate portion and a rear plate portion facing a side surface and a rear surface of the seat back shell, respectively, and the side plate portion has a base portion fixed to the recliner, and an extension portion provided to extend more upward than the base portion. The side plate portion is fixed at the extension portion to the side surface of the seat back shell, and the rear plate portion is at least fixed in a region to the rear surface of the seat back shell, the region provided to rise from a lower position of the side plate portion.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat including: a frame member whose sectional shape includes a pair of facing portions extending in a specific direction; and a cap attached to terminals, in the specific direction, of the pair of facing portions and extending between the terminals of the pair of facing portions, wherein the cap includes a pair of pressing portions abutting on the terminals of the pair of facing portions from at least one of an inner peripheral side or an outer peripheral side and configured to suppress deformation of each of the terminals toward a side facing another of the terminals or a side opposite thereto.

A vehicle footrest device including: a footrest; and a footrest moving mechanism including: a rail fixed on a vehicle floor and extending in a front and rear direction; a slider configured to be guided so as to be slidable in the front and rear direction along the rail; and a variable-length arm bridged in a height direction between the slider and a vehicle seat and configured to change a bridging length between the slider and the vehicle seat by a sliding displacement of the variable-length arm in response to a forward and rearward movement of the slider, wherein the footrest is connected to the variable-length arm, and a position in the front and rear direction and an inclination angle of the footrest to the vehicle floor are configured to be changed according to a movement of the variable-length arm caused by the forward and rearward movement of the slider.

Vehicle footrest device

A vehicle seat including: a seat frame extending in a first direction; and an air conditioning duct extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction, wherein the duct intersects the seat frame, and wherein the duct is inserted into a through hole which is formed in the seat frame and penetrates the seat frame in the second direction.

A vehicle seat including: a seat cover configuring a design surface of a seat peripheral surface portion; a seat pad covered by the seat cover and configured to elastically support a load from a seated person; an air conditioning duct protruding from the seat peripheral surface portion; an insertion hole penetrating the seat cover and the seat pad; and a connection member attached to a seat internal structure which is provided at one side of the insertion hole opposite to another side of the insertion hole from which the duct is inserted into the insertion hole, wherein the duct is attached to the seat internal structure in a state of being inserted into the insertion hole and connected with the connection member.

A table apparatus for a vehicle including: a table having a substantially horizontal upper surface in a region directly above a seating surface of a vehicle seat; a heat source provided to the table and configured to perform heat radiation from a lower surface side of the table; and a table moving mechanism configured to move the table so as to change a position of the table with respect to the vehicle seat, wherein a position of the heat source with respect to the vehicle seat is changed by moving the table by the table moving mechanism.

Table apparatus for vehicle

A vehicle seat includes: a first frame member that forms a framework of the vehicle seat and extends in a seat vertical direction or in a seat front-and-rear direction; a second frame member that extends in a seat width direction; and a component mounting bracket that allows to mount a component and is provided in an inside-seat corner portion of a connecting part of the first frame member and the second frame member, wherein the first frame member or the second frame member has a hole into which a portion of the component is inserted when the component is mounted in the component mounting bracket.

A console device provided lateral to a vehicle seat on a vehicle floor, the console device includes a console box provided with a container portion having an open top and a lid provided on the console box to open and close the container portion. A clearance allowing conditioned air to flow out toward a person sitting on the seat is provided between an upper end of a lateral surface of the console box and a lateral end of the lid.

A vehicle seat including: a cushion pad having elasticity and configured to be bent by a load of an occupant, the cushion pad including: a foamed-resin body made of foamed resin and provided at an ischium corresponding portion of the cushion pad, which is configured to support at least an ischial tuberosity of an occupant, and a first high elastic body of a sheet shape having a degree of elasticity higher than that of the foamed-resin body and provided at a front end portion of the cushion pad.
