A throttle control apparatus for an engine on a vehicle is provided, in which the number of component parts in the position detection means and the driven means is reduced to improve the accuracy in its position control and at the same time an integrated wiring is achieved and connectors are aggregated. The position detection means for detecting the position of a control valve, the driven means for controlling the position of the control valve, the means for processing control signals, an output from the position control means for controlling the position of the control valve are disposed within a sealed space defined by a body supporting a control valve shaft, and a cover. Based on the fact that the number of component parts of the position detection means may be reduced, the mechanical hysteresis and electrical hysteresis may also be reduced to improve the accuracy in controlling the control valve position, and it is possible to aggregate the connectors.

Air flow rate control apparatus

The invention is intended to simplify a default mechanism of a throttle valve opening and closing device for the purpose of improving mountability of the device to a vehicle. When a motor generate no driving forces, a throttle valve is held in a position () by a return spring. In this position, gaps are formed between the throttle valve and a wall surface of an intake passage. Spherical recesses are formed in parts of the wall surface of the intake passage. In a position () where the throttle valve is opposed to the spherical recesses, the gaps are minimized in an operating range of the throttle valve.

Throttle valve opening and closing device

A method is provided for easily avoiding undesirable effects on various physical values due to the change in temperature of a motor for driving a throttle valve without causing secondary problems. A technique is also provided for measuring the temperature of the motor electrically. The method uses a compensation device for correcting the power supply to the motor by detecting the impedance of the motor windings and/or the change in the motor temperature. The temperature of the motor is estimated from the current and voltage to the motor.

That is an electronically controlled throttle device comprising a throttle valve held rotatably in a throttle body; an actuator for driving the throttle valve; a return spring which gives a force to return the throttle valve in the full open direction; a throttle position sensor for detecting the opening of the throttle valve; and a throttle actuator control unit for driving the actuator based on the opening of the throttle valve detected by the throttle position sensor and a target opening. Wherein the throttle actuator control unit is provided with a control means which controls the actuator, when EGR control or DPF control has ended, so that the throttle valve turns toward the full open position in a longer period of time than the length of time in which the throttle valve is turned toward the full open position by the return spring only.

Electronically controlled throttle apparatus

An electronic throttle apparatus permits aggregating of various parts and rationalization of installation, and can simplify assembling operation and wiring operation to an engine room for rationalization of an installation space. The throttle apparatus for an engine includes a throttle body housing therein a throttle valve and disposed in an air intake of the engine, a throttle actuating motor, a throttle position sensor detecting a throttle valve angle and an air flow sensor located on upstream of the throttle valve and measuring an intake air flow rate. The throttle actuating motor, the throttle position sensor and the air flow sensor are mounted on the throttle body.

Throttle apparatus for an engine

A cover mounted on a throttle body is provided with an intermediate connector to be connected to a motor terminal and an electronic control module. Inductances installed on the inner surface of the cover are connected to the DC motor and motor drive terminals of the electronic control module, through the intermediate connector.

An electronic control throttle body has a default mechanism for securing the self-propelling of a vehicle at the time of faulty. A throttle control unit controls the position of a throttle valve by using a motor on the basis of a target throttle valve opening degree obtained by an engine control unit. In this respect, when the target throttle valve opening degree inputted from the engine control unit crosses over a default opening degree f0 of a default mechanism, an integration value having been added is set to 0, and an integration value having been calculated hereinafter is added to the set value to thereby perform a feedback control.
