An in-vehicle display device includes n layers from a cover glass to a housing bottom member, including a display panel midway thereof. The housing bottom member is fixed to an interior portion of a vehicle at at least two fixing points. When a virtual plane R is defined based on the two fixing points, a distance Zis defined based on a main surface of the cover glass and the virtual plane R, and a distance Z is defined based on a main surface of the display panel and the virtual plane R, a ratio Z/Zis 0.6 or less. When a virtual line L is defined based on the main surface of the display panel and the virtual plane R, the n layers satisfy Expression (1).

In-vehicle display device

A glass substrate includes a pair of main surfaces including a first main surface and a second main surface opposed to the first main surface; an edge surface arranged along a direction orthogonal to the pair of main surfaces; and a connecting surface arranged between the first main surface and the edge surface. The connecting surface has a plurality of pores. A difference between a 50% particle diameter of the pores in a portion 20 &#x3bc;m distant from the first main surface and a 50% particle diameter in a portion 20 &#x3bc;m distant from the edge surface is 10 &#x3bc;m or less.

Glass substrate and in-vehicle display device

The present invention relates to a vehicle-mounted display device disposed in an interior member of a vehicle. The vehicle-mounted display device of the invention includes: a display panel; a cover glass covering the display panel; a housing accommodating the display panel; and a holding portion holding a position of the housing, in which the cover glass is a tempered glass having a thickness being 0.5 to 2.5 mm, a thickness of a compressive stress layer being 10 &#x3bc;m or more, and a surface compressive stress of the compressive stress layer being 650 MPa or higher, and when the thickness (unit: mm) of the cover glass is represented by x and an energy absorption rate (unit: %) of the holding portion is represented by y, Expression (1) is satisfied, and impact resistance of the cover glass is excellent:&#x2265;&#x2212;37.1&#xd7;ln()+53.7&#x2003;&#x2003;(1).

Vehicle mounted display device

To provide a cover member excellent in edge safety, and a display device in which said cover member is used. A cover member which covers a display panel of a display device and which has a front surface that does not face the display panel and a rear surface that faces the display panel, said cover member being a laminate in which a first glass plate constituting said front surface and a second glass plate constituting said rear surface are bonded via an intermediate film interposed therebetween, wherein the first glass plate has a first inside chamfer which is a chamfer on the intermediate film side, and the first inside chamfer and the second glass plate or the intermediate film are bonded by a resin.

Cover member and display device

A transparent substrate includes a first principal surface; a second principal surface as a principal surface on the opposite side of the first principal surface; a lateral surface extending between the first principal surface and the second principal surface; and a first boundary surface disposed between the first principal surface and the lateral surface and having a plurality of concave portions; wherein the first boundary surface is configured such that each of the concave portions has a bottom with a curvature and that the frequency of a maximum curvature is less than 3% in a frequency distribution of the curvatures of the concave portions.

Transparent substrate and display device

A display device includes a display panel, and a cover member with which the display panel is covered. The cover member includes a second main surface facing the display panel, a first main surface opposite to the second main surface, and an end surface connecting the first main surface to the second main surface. A line D is defined as an imaginary line that passes through an edge E formed by the first main surface and the end surface, and members of a first layer to a nlayer (n: an inter of 2 or more) are arranged on the line D, the cover member being the first layer. A gap exists in a part between the cover member and the member of the nlayer. The display device satisfies the specific relations (1) to (3).

Display device

A cover glass for covering a display panel of a display device, includes a front surface not to be faced to the display panel, a back surface to be faced the display panel, a front-side chamfered part which is a chamfered part on the side of the front surface, and a back-side chamfered part which is a chamfered part on the side of the back surface. The front-side chamfered part has a surface roughness Ra of more than 100 nm. The back-side chamfered part has a surface roughness Ra of 100 nm or less.

Cover glass and display device

A battery case comprises a tray member (), a cover member (), a first holding member () of a metal arranged to contact a tray flange () with its outer circumferential edge portion projecting outward from the tray flange by a predetermined length, a second holding member () of a metal arranged to contact a cover flange () with its outer circumferential edge portion projecting outward from the cover flange by a predetermined length, and a fastening means () fastening the first and second holding members together at a predetermined location outwardly away from the tray and cover flanges.
