A fuel cutoff valve is provided with a casing that forms a valve chamber that is connected to a connection conduit, a float mechanism that is housed so as to be able to rise and fall in the valve chamber, and a spring that supports the float mechanism. The float mechanism is structured through an assembly of a first float body and a second float body, where the first float body is provided with a valve portion that opens and closes the connection conduit and provided with a storage chamber that is open on the bottom, where the second float body is housed in the storage chamber to be assembled into the first float body.

In order to discharge air cleaned free from evaporated fuel vapor in a canister installed under the front seat floor, have none of the air coming inside a passenger room and inhibit water, dirt and dust from being absorbed in a drain pipe in a canister, the following drain pipe in a canister is invented. The drain pipe in canister is connected with a canister body installed under a front seat floor of a vehicle. The drain pipe in the canister comprises a first part extending from the canister body up to an upper portion of an engine room disposed on a front side of a passenger room, and a second part extending from the first part to a portion under a floor of the passenger room.

The present invention is related to a filler pipe structure for connecting a filler neck and fuel tank inside of a vehicle, and the filler pipe structure is equipped with a first filler pipe extending from the filler neck; a chamber that is arranged at an end to which the first filler pipe extends, and forms a space fronting the end of the first filler pipe; an inlet check valve attached to the end of the first filler pipe; and a second filler pipe that connects the space of the chamber and the fuel tank inside, wherein an inside section area of the second filler pipe is larger than that of the first filler pipe.

A fuel tank disposed on a lower face of a floor panel beneath a driver's seat and a passenger's seat. A protruding portion of the fuel tank that protrudes rearward is housed within floor tunnels formed in the floor panel. A fuel supply pipe is connected to the rear end of the protruding portion. This not only enables the capacity of the fuel tank to be increased by utilizing an inner space of the floor tunnels, but also enables the resistance against fuel fed to the fuel tank to be reduced by shortening the fuel supply pipe.

In an antistatic structure of a fuel pipe, the fuel pipe to be charged in contact with a fuel, and a brake pipe connected electrically to a vehicle body are coupled to each other through a conductive clamp in at least one portion.

A fuel tank supporting structure is described which is effective to reliably fix a fuel tank without interfering with the layout of auxiliaries, such as a pump unit, a meter unit, and the like mounted on the fuel tank, and to ensure a sufficient volume of the fuel tank. The disclosed structure includes a subframe for supporting the fuel tank in an internal space having a pair of front and rear cross members, a pair of left and right side members, a pair of fuel tank supporting members disposed inside and below both the side members, and suspension arm supporting brackets located at a level higher than the fuel tank supporting members. The fuel tank placed on the fuel tank supporting members is fixed at its left and right opposite sides by a pair of left and right tank supporting bands which are connected at their front ends to the suspension arm supporting brackets and at its rear ends to the rear cross member.
