A vehicle cleaning system is provided including a foreign object detection section configured to detect a foreign object present on a windshield, a foreign object removal device configured to clean the windshield to remove the foreign object, an actuation notification section configured to notify a user of actuation of the foreign object removal device, and a control section that, when the foreign object detection section has detected the foreign object, controls the actuation notification section so as to notify of actuation of the foreign object removal device before controlling the foreign object removal device so as to clean the windshield.

The present disclosure provides a vehicle wiper-washer device including: a wiper motor causing to-and-fro wiping operation on a wiping surface by a wiper blade coupled to a wiper arm; a washer pump that feeds washer fluid under pressure to a jetting portion provided to at least one of the wiper blade or the wiper arm, to cause washer fluid to be jetted from the jetting portion toward the wiping surface on an outward movement direction side of the wiper blade during the to-and-fro wiping operation; and a control unit that, when a predetermined signal is detected, controls the wiper motor and the washer pump such that the to-and-fro wiping operation is performed, and such that washer fluid is jetted from the jetting portion toward the wiping surface on the outward movement direction side while a return path wiping operation of the to-and-fro wiping operation is being performed.

Vehicle wiper-washer device

A washer nozzle provided in a wiper blade has a first ejection hole ejecting a first washer fluid, and a second ejection hole ejecting a second washer fluid. A first ejection axis, which is a center line of a first ejection port angle of the first ejection hole, is define. A second ejection axis, which is a center line of a second ejection port angle of the second ejection hole, is defined. The washer nozzle is structured such that the first ejection axis and the second ejection axis intersect with each other as seen from a width direction of the wiper blade.

Wiper blade and vehicle wiper

A lever of a wiper blade holds a blade rubber. A cover accommodates at least a part of the lever from an opening. A nozzle mechanism has a connecting portion connected to a supply passage. A nozzle portion receives washer liquid that has been sent from the supply passage under pressure and passed the connecting portion, and supplies the washer liquid to a surface to be wiped. An attachment member is integrated with the nozzle mechanism. In a state where the cover accommodates the nozzle mechanism, the attachment member is attached to the lever or the cover. Therefore, the wiper blade is capable of stably supplies washer liquid to the surface to be wiped for an extended period of time.

Wiper blade and vehicle wiper device

A pipe member is arranged along a wiper arm. A wiper blade has a lever rotatably coupled to the wiper arm and a blade rubber for wiping a surface to be wiped. A nozzle mechanism has an attachment member attached to the wiper arm, a nozzle member for supplying the washer liquid sent under pressure from the pipe member to the surface to be wiped, and an engaging portion provided in the nozzle member. The attachment member rotatably supports the nozzle member. The engaging portion engages with the wiper blade such that the nozzle member follows rotation of the wiper blade. Therefore, a vehicle wiper device facilitates replacement of the wiper blade, and allows washer liquid to be stably received by the surface to be wiped.

Vehicle wiper device

If a washer switch is turned on in a state in which a wiper determining portion determines that a wiper switch is in an OFF state, and a vehicle speed determining portion determines that a vehicle speed is equal to or more than a predetermined speed, a simultaneous operation control portion ejects the washer fluid in a state in which the wiper is positioned at a lower reversing position. The simultaneous operation control portion causes the wiper to reciprocate at least once simultaneously with the ejection. The simultaneous operation control portion additionally ejects the washer fluid at least once, in a state in which the wiper is positioned at an intermediate position between the lower reversing position and an upper reversing position. Accordingly, it is possible to inhibit a lack of the washer fluid from being generated on the surface to be wiped.

Vehicle wiper/washer control apparatus and vehicle wiper/washer apparatus

A washer controller controls a washer motor in accordance with a manipulation of a washer switch. A washer switch detector determines whether a manipulation of the washer switch is performed within a predetermined time period of a last manipulation of the washer switch. A spray time controller sets a spray time to a first set time when the manipulation of the washer switch is performed within the predetermined time period of the last manipulation, and to a second set time when the manipulation of the washer switch is performed after the predetermined time period, the second set time being greater than the first set time. A washer motor controller operates the washer motor for a time period corresponding to the spray time set by the spray time controller.

Washer controller and washer system for vehicle

In a bearing holding structure in which a bearing whose outer circumferential surface is formed in a spherical shape is sandwiched between an end frame and a holding plate, the holding surfaces of the end frame and the holding plate extend axially in opposite directions to each other and each of the holding surfaces is tapered axially to expand straight toward the opposing holding surface. Accordingly, the bearing holding structure may be easily formed with simpler shape of the holding surfaces.

In a fluid pump device, a filter is secured to a housing. A meshed portion of the filter substantially covers an inlet opening of the housing. Each engaging projection of the filter is engaged with a corresponding engaging recess of the housing in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of an impeller. Arm portions of the filter substantially perpendicularly extend with respect to a meshed portion of the filter and are resiliently flexible in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the impeller. Each coupling projection of the filter is provided between adjacent two arm portions of the filter and is engaged with a corresponding coupling recess of the housing in the axial direction of the impeller.

In a motor, an end plate has a pair of internal terminal-holding pedestals and an internal terminal-sandwiching slits. A pedestal-engaging portion is formed on the internal terminal-holding pedestal. An internal power-supply terminal has a holding portion, a concave portion, two insertion strips, and a brush-holding projection. Two holding through-holes are formed in the holding portion. A stopper concave portion is formed on a bottom of the internal terminal-holding pedestal. An inclined convex portion is formed on each of a pair of insertion strips of the internal power-supply terminal.

A jetting opening for jetting a washer fluid is formed on a jet fitted under pressure in a nozzle body installed on a hood of a vehicle. The jetting opening is formed on a bottom of cross-shaped grooves formed at a front part of the jet. The jetting opening is slot-shaped and extends in a lengthwise direction thereof and communicates with the domed portion positioned at a front portion of a fluid passage for feeding the washer fluid to the jet. The area of the jetting opening is reduced by a reducing portion positioned at the center of the jetting opening in the lengthwise direction thereof. Both sides of the reducing portion are symmetrical with respect to a line passing through the center of the reducing portion and extending in the lengthwise direction of the reducing portion. Thus, the jetting opening is gourd-shaped.

Washer nozzle and washer apparatus for vehicle

The present invention provides a vehicle window washing system having a washer pump which includes a cylindrical housing, a pump section formed in the housing, a motor section formed in the housing, an outlet formed in the housing to extend outwardly therefrom, and a flow passage connecting the outlet with the pump section. The washer pump is fixedly held relative to a washing liquid tank under such a condition that at least the pump section is inserted into the washing liquid tank through an opening therein.
