A cloth-like heater has a first fiber layer that is sheet-shaped, and having a first surface that is perpendicular to a thickness direction of the first fiber layer, a second fiber layer that is sheet-shaped, and having a second surface that is perpendicular to a thickness direction of the second fiber layer and that faces the first surface of the first fiber layer via a space, and a third fiber layer provided between the first fiber layer and the second fiber layer. The first fiber layer has a plurality of first conducting parts that has electroconductivity and is arranged in selected sites, and a plurality of first non-conducting parts that has insulating properties and is arranged in sites other than the first conducting parts.

Cloth-like heater

A sheet pressure sensor includes a first fiber layer, a second fiber layer, and a third fiber layer provided between the first and second fiber layers. The third fiber layer has connecting yarns that electrically connect first conductive portions of the first fiber layer and the second conductive portion in the second fiber layer with a predetermined electric resistivity. The sheet pressure sensor further includes a measuring instrument for measuring electric resistance between at least one of the first conductive portions and the second conductive portion. The connecting yarns unstrain due to deformation of the first or second conductive portion which is generated by applied pressure, and then are short-circuited with one of them. The sheet pressure sensor can detect the pressure while keeping air ventilation characteristic by giving a pressure detection function to the fiber layers.

Sheet pressure sensor

A sheet heater includes a first fiber layer, a second fiber layer distanced from the first fiber layer, a third fiber layer disposed between the first and second fiber layers, and a controller operable to control heat generation. The first fiber layer is constituted of first conductive portions and first non-conductive portions. The second fiber layer is constituted of second conductive portions and second non-conductive portions. The third fiber layer includes functional layers each constituted of connecting yarns and non-functional layers arranged to insulate each of the functional layers from others of the functional layers. The controller applies voltage between the first and second conductive portions to heat the connecting yarns. According to the heater, a desired temperature distribution can be created on the heater by applying the voltage selectively to one target segment composed of the first conductive portion, the functional layer and the second conductive portion.

Sheet heater

A matrix-patterned cloth includes: first and second fiber layers including mutually isolated first and second conductors, respectively; an intermediate fiber layer between the first and second fiber layers; conductive connecting yarns connecting one of the first conductors and one of the second conductors, wherein, when a pressure is applied to the matrix-patterned cloth, each connecting yarn bends so that a position of contact between the connecting yarn and the first or second conductor changes depending on how large the pressure is; a selector; and a heating controller or a resistance measuring unit. The selector scans and sequentially selects one of the first conductors and one of the second conductors. The heating controller applies voltage to intersecting areas where the selected first and second conductors intersect each other via the first and second conductors. The resistance measuring unit measures electric resistances of the intersecting areas via the first and second conductors.

A semiconductor package, includes: element substrate having first surface, including: functional element on first surface, and extracting electrode on first surface and configured to output a signal of functional element, extracting electrode being disposed around functional element; rim substrate shaped into a frame, and configured to have first junction with element substrate to surround functional element, rim substrate including: first through hole through rim substrate, and connecting electrode which is: formed by packing first through hole with first conductor material, configured to seal signal extracting aperture of extracting electrode, and configured to electrically connect signal extracting aperture with takeout electrode; and cover substrate configured to have second junction with rim substrate to block aperture of rim substrate, cover substrate including: second through hole through cover substrate, and takeout electrode which is: formed by packing second through hole with second conductor material, and configured to take out signal of functional element.

A getter sheet is secured within a package element in a condition of elastic deformation by positioning the getter sheet between a base and a cap of a package with at least one portion of the getter sheet in contact with the package. When positioned within the package, the condition of elastic deformation may force the getter sheet into a vaulted form. Therefore, the getter sheet may be secured within the package without utilizing any additional parts or fasteners. The getter sheet comprises particulates of a getter applied to a sheet of material. The getter sheet may comprise a rectangular shape, an elliptical shape, or an octagonal shape. The getter sheet may be secured within the package when at least one portion of the getter sheet contacts one or more of a side surface of the cap, a bottom surface of the cap, and a top surface of the base.
