In the field of stators including divided tooth-shaped iron cores and core back iron cores, a stator is provided in which the tooth-shaped iron cores and the core back iron cores can be easily connected to each other, and the tooth-shaped iron cores and the core back iron cores can be prevented from coming off in the radial direction. In the stator of the present invention, a yoke () is formed such that the circumferential width thereof is greater at a radial-outer region than at a radial-inner region, i.e., such that the distance (a) between yoke side faces (A,A) gradually increases from a radial-inner region to a radial-outer region, and the distance (b) between two yoke side faces (A,A) opposing each other and facing a space between the tooth-shaped iron cores () that are disposed along a predetermined circumference with a predetermined interval is set to be a predetermined value over a range from a radial-inner region to a radial-outer region, or alternatively, is set so as to slightly decrease from a radial-inner region to a radial-outer region. A stator () is formed by inserting each of the core back iron cores () into a space between the tooth-shaped iron cores () adjacent to each other. The present invention also provides a stator in which a packing factor can be increased and the magnetic flux can be made smooth, and a manufacturing method therefor.

Stator having teeth with a projecting portion extending outwardly from a winding portion and a yoke portion

The stator includes core back iron cores disposed on outer circumferential sides between a plurality of teeth iron cores disposed at regular intervals of a predetermined distance in a predetermined circumferential direction. A stator winding is disposed on inner circumferential sides between the plurality of teeth iron cores. The stator winding is constituted by a plurality of wire bundles each of which is a bundle of a predetermined number of electric wires and which are connected in parallel with one another. The wire bundles are set so that the number of electric wires constituting a wire bundle located on the inner circumferential side between adjacent teeth iron cores is smaller than the number of electric wires constituting a wire bundle located on the outer circumferential side. Hence, the ratio (L/A) of the circumferential length L of each wire bundle to the sectional area A thereof is set at a value in a predetermined allowable range.

Stator and method for producing the stator

A stator and a stator manufacturing method is provided in which a space factor can be improved, while reducing the number of components and simplifying the manufacturing process. A stator comprises a plurality of teeth cores positioned at predetermined intervals on a predetermined circumference, a core back core provided on a circumferential outside between adjacent teeth cores, and stator windings which are wound around the teeth cores. An approximately U-shaped insulating sheet is provided between adjacent teeth cores with the ends of the sheet facing towards the circumferential outside, the insulating sheet is provided between the teeth cores and the stator windings , and the ends of the insulating sheet are bent inward and occluded by an inner end surface of the core back core which is inserted from the circumferential outside.
