The present invention relates to a radiation curable resin composition which comprises epoxy (meth)acrylate, a monofunctional (meth)acrylate, a bifunctional (meth)acrylate having a specific structure, and a bifunctional (meth)acrylate obtained from an aliphatic dihydric alcohol having an oxyalkylene structure and (meth)acrylic acid and further contains a thermoplastic resin, thereby causing satisfactory adhesion to plastic substrates, sufficient shape retention, and excellent shape recovery properties, and satisfaction in moldability including casting efficiency and shape reproducibility, as well as a high refractive index and appropriateness for use as a lens sheet.

Radiation curable resin composition for lens sheet and lens sheet

There are provided a lens sheet for a screen, which is highly stable by virtue of a reduced tendency toward warping, lifting and the like of the lens caused by external humidity and, at the same time, has a suppressed tendency toward friction between lenses during transport as a screen, and a resin composition for constituting the lens sheet. The lens sheet is used in combination with other lens sheet and comprises one or at least two layers. When the layer in contact with the above other lens is formed of a thermoplastic resin, the universal hardness of the thermoplastic resin composition is brought to a range of 31.0 to 42.0 N/mm.

Lens sheet for screen

There are provided a resin composition, which has optical properties such as a high refractive index, has excellent restorability and scratch resistance, and has good adhesion to a substrate, and, when utilized as an optical member (lens) used, for example, in screens for projection televisions or the like, can satisfy various property requirements, and a cured product of the resin composition. The resin composition comprises: an epoxy (meth)acrylate oligomer having an average molecular weight of not more than 1500, a copolymer of a (meth)acrylic ester with styrene or &#x3b1;-methylstyrene, a thermoplastic urethane elastomer, a (meth)acrylic ester monomer, and a photopolymerization initiator.

Resin composition and optical element

A radiation curable resin composition for a Fresnel lens is provided, which exhibits a high elastic modulus and a high refractive index and is superior in adhesion to the plastic substrate and is superior in transparency. A lens layer exhibits excellent shape retention over a wide temperature range and is less likely to chip and crack due to an external force. A Fresnel lens sheet using the radiation curable resin composition is also provided. The resin composition comprises, as an essential component, an epoxy (meth)acrylate (a) having an epoxy equivalent per weight of 450 g/eq or more, which has a cyclic structure and two or more (meth)acryloyl groups; a specific trifunctional (meth)acrylate (b); a (meth)acrylate (c) having a molecular weight of 700 or less from an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol having an oxypropylene structure; and a monofunctional (meth)acrylate (d) having a cyclic structure.

Resin composition for production of optical element, the optical element, and projection screen

Disclosed are a base plate for use for a lens sheet that can realize the unlikeliness to be cracked while the self-sustenance of the lens sheet is being maintained, the lens sheet, and a projection screen comprising that lens sheet. In a base plate, the base plate constructing a lens sheet as a base sheet for a UV-curable resin layer by being bonded to the UV-curable resin layer and being made of ductile materials, the breaking flexure by bending of the ductile material is 0.08 or more; and the Izod impact value thereof is 5 KJ/m or more.
