An offset fin for use in a heat exchanger includes a first corrugation structure and a second corrugation structure. The first corrugation structure includes a plurality of first fins aligned in a first direction. The second corrugation structure includes a plurality of second fins aligned in the first direction. The second corrugation structure is disposed in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, with respect to the first corrugation structure. The first fins and the second fins protrude alternately in a third direction orthogonal to both the first direction and the second direction, and each have a protruding shape cross-section. In the first direction, the second fins are disposed offset from the first fins. Each of the first fins includes a first side wall inclined with respect to the second direction, and each of the second fins includes a second side wall inclined with respect to the second direction, at a side opposite to a side at which the first side wall is inclined.

A refrigerator is provided with first gasket and second gasket. First gasket is provided on door, and when door is closed, first gasket makes contact with refrigerator main body and closes the storage compartment. Second gasket is provided with heat insulator, and is provided on refrigerator main body on the storage compartment side relative to the location where first gasket adheres. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve refrigerator that can suppress reduction in cooling efficiency due to second gasket heated by heat dissipation pipe.

Refrigerator

It is an object to provide a refrigerator that suppresses heat intrusion from a heat radiation pipe for suppressing dew condensation with respect to a partition plate of a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a partition plate that partitions a room into a plurality of rooms and a door that seals the plurality of rooms. The partition plate includes an upper plate that positions on upper side, a lower plate that positions on lower side, a design plate that positions between the upper plate and the lower plate, and a heat insulating material fixed between the design plate and the upper plate or the lower plate in a compressed state in which a compressed portion has a thickness smaller than a thickness of other portions.

A vacuum heat-insulation material includes: at least one first fiber member; at least one second member that is placed around an outer peripheral part of the at least one first fiber member and that is thinner than an inner part; and at least one shell material that surrounds the at least one first fiber member and the at least one second fiber member.

The present invention provides a battery block that accommodates unit cells having higher capacities, and, even in case of abnormal heat generation in the unit cell, does not cause abnormal heat generation in the neighboring unit cells, thereby preventing a chain reaction of degradations and abnormalities of the accommodated unit cells. The battery block of the present invention includes a battery case having a minimum thickness section satisfying the relationship 'K2/K1&#x2267;K3&#x2212;1'. K1 is the thermal conductance between the battery case and the unit cell. K2 is the thermal conductance of the minimum thickness section of the battery case between two neighboring holes for accommodating the respective unit cells. K3 is a ratio between the abnormal heat temperature of a reference cell and the ambient temperature causing abnormal heat generation in this cell.

Battery block

A battery module in which the temperature of a cell with an increased high temperature due to an abnormal state can be quickly reduced so that the high temperature does not affect adjacent cells is provided. A battery modulehas a configuration in which a plurality of cellsas secondary batteries are housed in a casehaving a plurality of housing parts housing, but not in contact with, the cells, and when a gas is generated in one of the cellsto cause the cellto expand, this cellcomes into contact with the associated one of the housing parts.

A method for producing a plasma display panel, a formation of the front-sided dielectric layer comprising the steps of: (i) locally supplying a low-melting point frit material onto a predetermined region of the substrate having the electrode thereon to locally form a low-melting point frit material layer; (ii) heating the low-melting point frit material layer to form a local glass layer therefrom; (iii) supplying a dielectric material over the substrate, covering the electrode and the local glass layer therewith to form a dielectric material layer; and, (iv) heating the dielectric material layer to form a dielectric layer therefrom, wherein a softening temperature of the local glass layer is lower than and equal to a softening temperature of a sealing material to be used for a panel sealing by which the front panel is sealed with a rear panel.

Method for producing dielectric layer for plasma display panel

A refrigerant go-around passage is provided in a housing of a compressor. The passage takes in refrigerant discharged from a compression mechanism into the housing, makes the refrigerant go around an axial line of the compressor and finally returns the refrigerant to the discharge-port side of the housing while separating liquid contained in the refrigerant from the refrigerant by centrifugation or by centrifugation and collision. In the mid portion of the refrigerant go-around passage, a liquid returning port is provided for returning the separated liquid to the housing in such a manner that the liquid returning port has an orientation that has a component in a direction of gravity and that is deviated from a traveling direction of the refrigerant.

Compressor and mechanism for separating lubricating liquid

In an electric compressor, an inverter case of an inverter is externally attached to an end wall of a housing in an axial direction on the side of a suction port to a compression mechanism. An intake passage for leading fluid returned from the outside into the suction port is provided in the inverter case. The intake passage has a thermal binding portion for thermally binding the intake passage to the inverter. According to the above structure, an exclusive part in the housing is eliminated even though the inverter is installed in the electric compressor, and the inverter is cooled efficiently.

A fluid dynamic bearing device including a shaft having an interior pressure regulating hole by which a center portion of a thrust surface confronting a thrust plate and a lubricant pool portion of an inner circumferential surface of a sleeve are communicated with each other. Thus, the device is capable of obtaining stable thrust floating characteristics and preventing leaks of the lubricant as well as exhaustion of the lubricant.

A linear compressor is provided in which a driving spring and an elastic supporting member for supporting a compressing mechanism portion are disposed such that a piston and the compressing mechanism portion move in opposite phases such that vibration of a hermetic vessel is canceled out. The linear compressor comprises a hermetic vessel having a compressing mechanism portion and a linear motor therein. The compressing mechanism portion includes a piston-side mechanism and a cylinder-side mechanism, the former includes the piston and the mechanism member which is movable together with the piston, the latter includes the cylinder and the stator which connects with the cylinder. The cylinder-side mechanism member is elastically supported at opposite ends in the hermetic vessel by a first elastic member, and a reciprocating force in the axial direction is given the piston-side mechanism by a second elastic member whose one end is supported by the hermetic vessel.
