The present invention provides an oil overflow alarming system incorporated in a fryer apparatus. When the fryer apparatus includes a first frypot and a second frypot, a control unit of the oil overflow alarming system detects whether at least one of a second drainage valve unit and a second supply valve unit of the second frypot is in an open position while a first drainage valve unit of the first frypot is open, where cooking oil contained in the first frypot is drained into a cooking oil filtration unit to be filtered and cleaned. When at least either the second drainage valve or the second supply valve is open, the control unit outputs an overflow signal to an alarm unit, which generates an overflow alarm corresponding to the overflow signal to urge an operator to close both the second drainage valve and the second supply valve, thus preventing cooking oil from overflowing from the cooking oil filtration unit or the second frypot.

A liquid heating apparatus includes a pulse combustion burner mounted to a liquid vessel and having a combustion chamber secured to a side wall of the vessel and immersed in liquid in the vessel, a tailpipe connected at its one end to an exhaust port of the combustion chamber and immersed in the liquid, and a fuel supply conduit in communication with the combustion chamber and being provided thereon with an electrically operated valve which is closed in a deactivated condition to interrupt the supply of fuel into the combustion chamber and opened in an activated condition to permit the supply of fuel into the combustion chamber. An electric control system for the heating apparatus is arranged to detect an instant temperature of the liquid, to memorize a standard rise rate of temperature determined to be smaller than a rise rate of the instant temperature in a condition where a sufficient amount of liquid is stored in the vessel and to be larger than the rise rate of the instant temperature in a condition where there is not any liquid in the vessel, to compare the rise rate of the instant temperature with the standard rise rate and to produce an output signal for deactivation of the valve when the rise rate of the instant temperature is smaller than the standard rise rate.

An ignition control apparatus for a pulse combustor, wherein the number of trials for energization of a spark electrode is calculated and memorized, the memorized number of trials is reset to an initial value or zero after ignition of the fuel-air mixture in a combustion chamber of the combustor has been successfully obtained, a period of time for pre-purge of the combustion chamber is determined in accordance with the memorized number of trials for energization of the spark electrode, and a purge blower for the combustor activated for the determined period of time prior to energization of the spark electrode to change the unburned mixture ratio to a non-combustible ratio on the trial for ignition. In the ignition control apparatus, the presence of flame in the combustion chamber is further detected for a predetermined time, and the purge blower is deactivated when a predetermined number of trials for ignition have been attempted due to lack of the presence of flame in the combustion chamber.

A pulse combustion fat fryer of the table type includes a box-type cabinet having a front compartment and an upright rear compartment, an open-top vessel assembled within the front compartment to store an amount of cooking oil, the vessel having a front wall and a bottom wall the front part of which is located adjacent a bottom plate of the cabinet and the rear part of which is spaced upward from the bottom plate, a pulse combustion burner having a combustion chamber secured at its inlet end to the front wall of the vessel and immersed in the liquid in the vessel, a tailpipe connected at one end thereof to an exhaust port of the combustion chamber and being extended outwardly from the vessel, an air intake muffler and an exhaust muffler vertically disposed in parallel within the upright rear compartment of the cabinet, an air chamber casing secured to the front wall of the vessel and being connected to the air intake muffler to be supplied with fresh air, an exhaust decoupler located just below the rear part of the bottom wall of the vessel and having an inlet connected to an exhaust end of the tailpipe and an outlet in communication with the exhaust muffler, and an electric equipment box housed in a space between a side wall of the vessel and a side plate of the cabinet.
