A vehicle door lock device includes: a latch mechanism switching member which switches a latch mechanism to an unlatching state; a first lever member which moves to an operating position when a door handle is operated to open a door; a link member movable to an unlock position where the link member is engaged with the latch mechanism switching member and the latch mechanism is switched to the unlatching state, and a lock position where the latch mechanism is not switched to the unlatching state; a second lever member releasably engageable with the link member and causing the latch mechanism switching member to move to the operating position by moving from an initial position to an operating position; a biasing member which biases the link member toward the lock position; and a drive unit which drives the second lever member to move from the initial position to the operating position.

Vehicle door lock device

A vehicle door lock device includes: a latch that has a full latch claw portion and a half latch claw portion, engages with a striker attached to a vehicle body during a closing operation of a vehicle door, is rotatable between an unlatch position and a full latch position, and rotates from the unlatch position to the full latch position; a pawl that is rotatable between an engagement position and a disengagement position, is pressed by the full latch claw portion to rotate in a direction from the engagement position toward the disengagement position, and engages with the full latch claw portion by rotating from the disengagement position to the engagement position; a block lever that is rotatable between a restriction position and a non-restriction position; and a half latch lever that is rotatable between an operation position, and a non-operation position.

Provided is a vehicle door lock device capable of preventing a vehicle door from being opened accidentally even when the vehicle door is deformed. A vehicle door lock device includes: a housing including: a case having an opening portion; and a cover, which is mounted to the case so as to be openable and closable, and is configured to cover the opening portion; a cam mechanism, which is accommodated in the housing, and is supported on the case; and a bracket configured to restrain a cable which is locked to a locking portion formed on the housing, and is configured to connect the cam mechanism and an operation element provided to a door of a vehicle from being released from the locking portion when the cable connected to the cam mechanism in the opening portion is pressed toward the cover side.

A vehicular door lock device includes a rotary member being movable between a releasing position and an unlocking correspondent position by rotation of an electric motor and being elastically urged to a neutral position, a release lever switching a latch mechanism to an unlatched state by rotation of the rotary member from the neutral position to the releasing position, an active lever switching the vehicular door lock device to an unlocked state by rotational movement of the rotary member from the neutral position to the unlocking correspondent position and switching the vehicular door lock device to a locked state by rotational movement of the rotary member to a locking correspondent position, and a block lever blocking rotational movement of the rotary member from the locking correspondent position to the releasing position when switching from the unlocked state to the locked state is made.

Vehicular door lock device

A vehicular door lock device includes: a base portion rotatably supporting a latch holding a vehicle door in a closed state by engaging with a striker; a switching mechanism switching between a lock state where releasing of the engagement between the latch and the striker during a door opening operation of a door operation handle provided on the vehicle door is prohibited and an unlock state where releasing of the engagement between the latch and the striker during the door opening operation of the door operation handle is allowed; an electric mechanism capable of electrically switching the switching mechanism between the lock state and the unlock state; a housing accommodating the switching mechanism and the electric mechanism and connected to the base portion; and a blocking member disposed in the housing. An opening through which an operation tool is insertable is provided on the base portion.

Provided is a vehicle door lock device having a structure enabling easy mounting of a pivot lever and urging means configured to urge the pivot lever to pivot. The urging means locked to a base member and the pivot lever does not generate an urging force when the pivot lever is positioned at an outside position at which the pivot lever is positioned on one direction side with respect to an in-operation pivoting range, and when the pivot lever pivots from the outside position to the in-operation pivoting range, an elastic deformation piece climbs over a temporary stopper while being elastically deformed, and the urging means locked to the base member and the pivot lever is elastically deformed to generate the urging force.

A vehicle door lock device includes: a door switch arranged in an actuator housing to which a locking mechanism is assembled; a switch lever; and a lever pivoting amount adjusting mechanism configured to adjust a pivoting amount of the switch lever so that a ratio of the pivoting amount of the switch lever to a pivoting amount of a latch is set smaller in a second pivot state in which the latch is pivoted within a range of from a switching position to an unlatched position than in a first pivot state in which the latch is pivoted within a range of from a fully-latched position to the switching position.

A vehicle door lock device includes: a door lock body configured to be mounted to a door; an outside open lever mounted, in a pivotable manner, to a support shaft arranged on the door lock body; and a coupling member mounted to a pivot end portion of the outside open lever and having an insertion hole. An end portion of a rod on the outside open lever side is insertable through the insertion hole. The rod is configured to couple the outside open lever and an outside door handle configured to be mounted to a vehicle exterior side of the door. A mounting hole in the coupling member intersects the insertion hole, and the pivot end portion of the outside open lever has a mounting portion. The coupling member is fitted and fixed onto the mounting portion of the outside open lever through the mounting hole.

Door lock device for vehicle

A vehicle door lock device includes: a latch mechanism configured to enable a vehicle door to maintain a closed state in a vehicle body; and a lock mechanism configured to set an unlocked state or a locked state, wherein the lock mechanism includes an inside opening lever connected to an inside door handle, and capable of being operated so as to be rotatable around a lever support portion between an initial position and a maximum operation position, an opening link capable of switching between a first position and a second position, a lock operation lever capable of being operated so as to be rotatable around the lever support portion between an unlocking position and a locking position, and a lever actuating mechanism actuating the inside opening lever toward the initial position.

A door lock device has a high degree of freedom in the disposition of an open link for switching between a locked state and an unlocked state and has low operational resistance when being put into the locked state. When there is a malfunction in which the open link is jammed by the dust and therefore does not move from a lock waiting position to an unlock waiting position even when an unlock action is performed, when an outside handle interlock lever is turned, a sliding-contact tilt guide provided on a support body slides and makes sliding-contact with the open link and forcibly tilts the open link, and as a result, it becomes unnecessary to increase an energizing force of a torsion coil spring as a precaution against such malfunction. This makes it possible to reduce the operational resistance when the door lock device is put into the locked state.

Door lock device

A vehicle door lock device includes: a housing having an opening; a coupling member configured to be coupled to an operation mechanism arranged on a door; an operation lever arranged inside the housing and coupled to the coupling member through the opening; and a cover capable of opening and closing the opening and a coupling point between the coupling member and the operation lever. The cover is separate from the housing and assembled to the housing to be mountable on and demountable from the housing and rotatable between opened and closed states. Each of the housing and the cover includes: a temporary retaining mechanism to temporarily retain the cover in the opened state when the cover is assembled to the housing in a rotatable manner; and a full retaining mechanism configured to retain the cover in the closed state when the cover is rotatably assembled to the housing.

Vehicle door lock apparatus

A position holding device for a rotating lever includes a rotating lever and a torsion spring. The rotating lever is elastically held at two positions, that is, a first position and a second position. The torsion spring includes a coiled part, and a first arm part and a second arm part each extending from the coiled part. The first arm part has a mountain portion formed thereon, and the second arm part has a reversely urging portion formed thereon. An urging force of the reversely urging portion is applied to the rotating lever as a braking force against an urging force of the mountain portion. Further, a regulating member is formed on a base member so as to abut against the first arm part when the rotating lever rotates toward the first position through a neutral position.

Rotating-lever-position-holding device

A child protector mechanism includes a base member, a first lever, a second lever, a bush arranged between the first lever and the second lever, a child protector lever for moving the bush to an unset position or a set position, and a position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. The bush is retained at each of the unset position and the set position by the position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. Therefore, when assembling the bush and the first lever to the base member, the bush is retained at a predetermined position (for example, unset position) with respect to the first lever so that the bush does not move. Thus, the easiness of assembly of the bush and the first lever and the easiness of assembly of the child protector lever are excellent.

Child protector mechanism

Provided is a position holding device for a rotating lever, which includes a rotating lever and a torsion spring, and is capable of elastically holding the rotating lever at the two positions including a first position and a second position. The torsion spring includes a coiled part, and a first arm part and a second arm part each extending from the coiled part and facing each other across an engagement portion of the rotating lever. The first arm part includes a mountain portion formed at an intermediate portion thereof. The second arm part includes an urging portion. As a result, an urging force generated by the urging portion can be applied to the rotating lever as a braking force against an urging force generated by the mountain portion. Consequently, it is possible to reduce an abutment noise generated when the rotating lever abuts against a stopper member.

Position holding device for rotating lever and vehicle door lock device provided with said position holding device for rotating lever

A vehicle door latch mechanism includes a resin body, a base plate and a sub base plate nipping this body. The body has an accommodating portion capable of accommodating a latch and a pawl, an insertion groove through which a striker is inserted, a cantilever support portion nipping the striker with a facing inner wall surface, a receiving portion for restricting inclination of the cantilever support portion to a predetermined amount, and a cushion accommodating portion capable of accommodating a cushion for pressing the cantilever support portion toward the striker. A support portion for suppressing a deformation of the receiving portion when a free front end of the cantilever support portion is engaged with the receiving portion is provided in the sub base plate.
