An information processing device includes: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to: detect an environment around a vehicle which is driven by a driver; generate a hazard list of an object to be a hazard based on the detected environment; detect a gaze of the driver; evaluate a risk regarding driving of the driver for each object included in the hazard list based on a frequency at which the object included in the hazard list is included in a field of view of the driver based on the detected gaze; and output drive assist information corresponding to the object with the evaluated risk that is equal to or larger than a threshold.

A photoelectric sphygmograph measurement device includes a light emitting part emitting light pulses, a light receiving part having a light receiving element that receives the light pulses and producing a corresponding output signal, and a control part driving the light emitting part to emit the light pulses and performing a pulse wave measurement by using the output signal. Data compression apparatus and method

A noise processing apparatus measures a first potential difference signal, between a first electrode and a second electrode that is used as a reference electrode, and measures a second potential difference signal, between the second electrode and a third electrode that is arranged on the steering unit in the apparatus. The apparatus calculates the difference between the intensities of the first potential difference signal and the second potential difference signal calculated at the predetermined intervals. The apparatus corrects the first potential difference signal or the second potential difference signal by using the calculated difference such that the intensities of the first potential difference signal and the second potential difference signal are canceled out. The apparatus calculates a differential signal indicating the difference between the first potential difference signal and the second potential difference signal by using the corrected potential difference signal, and outputs the differential signal.

When different images are combined, the corresponding parts are to be aligned accurately. To thus combine images, the feature point of each pixel is calculated from each original image using an operator (filter). The pixels are divided into blocks that the resolution matches that of the reduced image of each original image, and an expectation value map for registering the expectation value of the feature point of each block is drawn. Feature points are expected from the expectation values which the expectation value map holds, and reduced images are superposed one on the other. The feature points of the original images corresponding to the feature points between which the correspondence is derived from the reduced images are extracted, and the original images are superposed one on the other using the extracted feature points.

Image processing method and apparatus for multi-resolution feature based image registration

A stream data recording apparatus records stream data in such a manner that the head of each video coding unit and the head of a series of audio coding unit corresponding to each video coding unit contained in the stream data coincide with the heads of access units of a recording medium. Utilizing the structure of stream data so recorded and the random accessibility of the recording medium, a stream data replaying apparatus and a stream data editing apparatus replay or edit the stream data freely on a video coding unit basis. By replacing stream data recorded on the recording medium on a video coding unit basis, the recording apparatus realizes endless recording that does not require complex file manipulation.

A technique related to a data backup for a computer. There are provided a selection section, an archive file creation section, and a backup processing section. The selection section selects data files satisfying given conditions from among data files stored in a first storage section. The archive file creation section creates N (N is a natural number) archive files by grouping the plurality of data files selected by the selection section and which repeats the archive file creation processing M (M is a natural number) times. The backup processing section stores the archive files created by the archive file creation section into a second storage section. The technique enables efficient copying of a data file in a short period of time.

In response to a forming request, an archiver forming module compresses a data file on a network and stores into an archiver. In response to a referring request, an archiver referring module reads out the compressed data file from the archiver, reconstructs on the network, and stores the reconstructed data file into the archiver. An archiver managing module concentratedly manages the archiver on the network. An archiver concentration type processing apparatus in a sharing group is set to a host and remaining archiver distribution type processing apparatuses are set to clients. The archiver, archiver forming module, and archiver referring module are arranged in each of the host and the clients. Concentration processes and distribution processes are allowed to mixedly exist on the network.
