In the present invention, provided is an electrophotographic toner in which low temperature fixing is achieved, and high storage stability is obtained without generating tacking with respect to fixed images to be formed. It is a feature that this electrophotographic toner possesses at least a binder resin, a colorant and a releasing agent, wherein the releasing agent comprises an ester compound and an aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid compound.

Disclosed is a toner manufacturing method, comprising: dispersing a polyester resin prepared by condensing a polyol and a polycarboxylic acid into an aqueous medium and adjusting a polyester resin particle dispersion liquid, wherein the polyol includes an unsaturated polyol, or the polycarboxylic acid includes an unsaturated polycarboxylic acid; and adding a radical polymerization initiator to the polyester resin particle dispersion liquid to cause a radical polymerization reaction, and adjusting the obtained dispersion liquid of polyester resin particles.

The object aims to improve the reproducibility of color and the stability in density of a toner. Disclosed is a toner comprising at least a resin and a colorant, wherein the colorant comprises a compound represented by general formula (1) and a compound represented by general formula (2). The apparatus includes a light source, including a plurality of light-emitting elements aligned within a predetermined width; an exposure-controlling section to individually control each of intensities of light beams emitted by the plurality of light-emitting elements; and a memory section to store light-intensity compensation data for each of the plurality of light-emitting elements. The image is formed by simultaneously exposing the light beams aligned within the predetermined width onto the photosensitive recording medium, and the exposure-controlling section controls each of the plurality of light-emitting elements based on the light-intensity compensation data concerned, so that each of intensities of the light beams substantially coincides with each of target intensities set in advance.

A black-and-white silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The black-and-white silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprises a support having thereon a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least two non-light-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layers provided on the surface of the silver halide emulsion layer farther from said support, in which the silver halide emulsion layer comprises silver halide grains each having a silver chloride content of 90 mole-% to 100 mole-% and containing a metal selected from the group consisting of transition metal of Group VIII of the periodic table and rhenium, a layer provided on the emulsion layer coated side of the support contains a hydrazine derivatives and a layer provided on the emulsion layer coated side of the support contains an amine compounds or an onium compounds as a nucleation accelerating agent, and the total dry thickness of layers provided on the surface farther from the support of the silver halide emulsion layer which is provided nearest to the support is 2.5 .mu.m to 8 .mu.m.

Silver halide photographic light sensitive material

Motor drive system

A direct drive motor for use with factory automation, wherein the motor is arranged to directly obtain rotary forces without using a final reduction gear. A direct drive motor system for controlling driving of the joints of a multi-jointed robot, comprising a motor portion, a rotation detecting portion, a position control portion, a speed control portion, a driving circuit and a tuning portion, wherein the motor portion is of an inductor type, the rotation detection portion uses an optical rotary encoder or magnetic resolver, and the position control portion is arranged to control in a feedback manner the rotational position of the motor with a tertiary servo system with software. The system's driving circuit has a feedback control loop for the current of the motor coil, and a detection circuit for the current includes a small signal isolator. The tuning portion tunes the servo systems of the speed control portion and the position control portion. As a result, the system simultaneously satisfies various requirements of such a direct drive motor.
