An endoscopic treatment tool includes a sheath; a treatment portion capable of protruding and retracting from a distal end of the sheath; a manipulation main body; a slider which advances and retracts in a longitudinal axis direction to cause the treatment portion to protrude and retract from the sheath; a first locking mechanism which locks the slider at a position at which the distal end of the treatment portion is accommodated in the sheath in accordance with a retracting manipulation of the slider; a second locking mechanism provided at further distal side than the first locking mechanism and restricts advance of the slider by being locked to the manipulation main body; a fixing mechanism provided in the second locking mechanism and fixed to the manipulation main body by sliding; and a restricting portion which restricts fixing of the fixing mechanism to the manipulation main body.

A high frequency treatment apparatus of the present invention comprises a high frequency generation section for supplying high frequency power, a control section, which is connected to the high frequency generation section, and which controls output of the high frequency generation section, having a first control mode in which the maximal output value of high frequency power supplied from the high frequency generation section is confined to be equal to or less than a first predetermined value and a second control mode in which the maximal output value of high frequency power supplied from the high frequency generation section is confined to be equal to or less than a second predetermined value which is less than the first predetermined value, a treatment tool, which is connected to the high frequency generation section, and which performs a treatment of a diseased part by supplying high frequency power from the high frequency generation section controlled by the control section to the diseased part, and a control mode setting section, which is connected to the control section, for selecting one of the first and second control modes.

High frequency treatment apparatus

A medical instrument for use in combination with an endoscope having an operating shaft and a pair of tongs. The instrument has a drive mechanism provided between the operating shaft and the tongs, for opening and closing the tongs. The drive mechanism can apply an additional force to the tongs even after the tongs have closed completely.
