A clutch device includes an input rotor, a first clutch, a second clutch, a first drive mechanism and a second drive mechanism. A first clutch is disposed switchably between a first transmitting state of transmitting power and a first blocking state of blocking power transmission. A second clutch is disposed switchably between a second transmitting state of transmitting power and a second blocking state of blocking power transmission. The first drive mechanism includes a first drive support member and the second drive mechanism includes a second drive support member. A drive clearance is configured to be produced axially between the first drive support member and the second drive support member in the first blocking state and the second blocking state. The drive clearance is less than a sum of the first stroke and the second stroke.

Clutch device

It is an object of the present invention to provide a compact torque transmission device. The torque transmission device includes an input-side member, an output-side member, a clutch and a pressing mechanism. The clutch is configured to transmit or cut torque between the input-side member and the output-side member. The pressing mechanism includes a pressing member for pressing the clutch, and a pressing device. The pressing device is a device for pressing the pressing member, and is disposed on the inner peripheral side of the clutch.

Torque transmission device

A clutch device includes an input rotor, a rotation support mechanism, a first pressure plate, a second pressure plate, a first clutch disc assembly and a second clutch disc assembly. The input rotor includes a first disc portion and a second disc portion disposed away from the first disc portion at a predetermined space. The rotation support mechanism supports the input rotor for allowing the input rotor to be rotated with respect to a first input shaft and a second input shaft.

A multiple clutch deviceincludes a first clutch component, a second clutch component, a first oil channel, and a second oil channel. The first clutch componentis able to link an input shaftand a first output shaftby frictional engagement. The second clutch componentis able to link the input shaftand a second output shaftby frictional engagement. The first oil channelserves to supply lubricating fluid to the first clutch component. The second oil channelis substantially independent from the first oil channel, and serves to supply lubricating fluid to the second clutch component.

Multiple clutch device

A wet type multiple disc clutch transmits torque from an engine a transmission and a clutch engaging portion, a piston, a first oil passage, a second oil passage, and an operating oil supply unit. The clutch engaging portion includes a plurality of plate members. The first oil passage has one end on the piston side. The second oil passage has one end on the clutch engaging portion side. The operating oil supply unit switches a clutch engaged state, in which operating oil is supplied to the first oil passage from the outside and the operating oil in the second oil passage is drained to the outside, to a clutch disengaged state.

A damper mechanism that has a simplified structure and maintains torsional characteristics of a conventional damper mechanism is provided. The damper mechanism is equipped with an input rotating body , an output rotating body , and two or more coil spring assemblies . The two or more coil spring assemblies elastically couple the input rotating body and the output rotating body together in a rotational direction and serve to absorb twisting torque. Each coil spring assembly has at least one coil spring whose center axis is roughly linear. At least one of coil spring assemblies absorbs 35% to 50% of the twisting torque.

Damper mechanism

A bypass line is provided to return an excess portion of working oil, whose pressure has been regulated by a regulator valve, to a suction side of an oil pump from a point between the regulator valve and a torque converter pressure regulator valve. An oil filter is inserted in the bypass line.

Hydraulic circuit

A vehicle driving apparatus applied to a small-sized vehicle of FF or RR type includes an input shaft connected to a drive shaft through a torque convertor, a planetary gearing including various gears and a carrier, an output gear, an intermediate transmission shaft provided at one end with a driven gear meshing with the output gear and connected at the other end to a final reduction device, and various clutches and brakes. In the apparatus, another clutch for providing an overdrive is disposed on the side opposite to the planetary gearing with respect to the output gear for disconnectably connecting the input shaft or the drive shaft to the carrier. The clutch protrudes from the transmission casing and is enclosed by a separate cover so that removal of the clutch can simply turn the four-forward speed automatic transmission into a three-forward speed automatic transmission.

Vehicle driving apparatus

An electric and hydraulic servomechanism controlling device comprises a pressure governor valve, a hydraulic servomechanism actuated by the supply of the line pressure regulated by said pressure governor valve, and a change-over valve for shifting an oil passage that connects said pressure governor valve and hydraulic servomechanism. The change-over valve serves also as a pressure reducing valve thereby reducing not only the capacity but also the size of the necessary solenoid.
