Each of a plurality of semiconductor light-emitting element has, on an upper surface thereof that has a quadrilateral shape, a pair of connecting portions having different polarities from each other. The pair of connecting portions are aligned on a diagonal of the quadrilateral shape. The diagonal intersects a row direction along which the semiconductor light-emitting elements within a row are arranged. Connecting portions having identical polarity are positioned on an imaginary line parallel to the row direction. Metal wires intersect two sides extending from a corner, on the diagonal, of the upper surface of each of the semiconductor light-emitting elements when viewed from a direction perpendicular to a mounting surface of a substrate for mounting the semiconductor light-emitting elements.

Light-emitting module

A light emitting device includes: a substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements mounted in a light emitting area of the substrate, and an intermediate line for electrically connecting a plurality of light emitting elements in parallel or series selectively, the intermediate line being disposed in the light emitting area.

Light emitting device, illumination apparatus including the same, and mounting substrate

A lighting apparatus includes a substrate, a light-emitting element, and a sealing member. The light-emitting element emits light in a first wavelength range. The sealing member contains a material that converts the light in the first wavelength range to light in a second wavelength range different from the first wavelength range. The sealing member has a curved convex contour in at least one cross section that passes through the center of the light-emitting element and is perpendicular to a principal surface of the substrate. A curved line indicating a change in output angle that occurs upon a change in observation angle is approximated by a quadratic or trigonometric function that passes through the origin.

Lighting apparatus

In a mounting area, a plurality of light-emitting elements are two-dimensionally mounted, and light-emitting elements are connected in series in each of light-emitting element blocks. The illumination device has a lighting apparatus that includes: a first light-emission part emitting light of a daylight color temperature; a second light-emission part emitting light of an incandescent lamp color temperature; and the optical member, which is disposed on an optical path of the light emitted from the light-emission parts. A correlated color temperature of the light emitted from the second light-emission part is set to 2238 K. Due to this, in a spectrum of the light emitted from the second light-emission part, a maximum intensity within a wavelength range from 400 nm to 500 nm is no greater than one-tenth of a maximum intensity within a wavelength range from 300 nm to 800 nm.

A color picture tube in which an electron gun emits three electron beams arranged in line, in which the diameter of the spot () at the center of the screen in the in-line direction is smaller than that in the direction perpendicular to the in-line direction when the spot is in a just-focused state. Therefore the shape of the spot () at the periphery of the screen is generally a true circle. As a result, the resolution at the periphery of the phosphor screen is improved, and the more is suppressed.

Color picture tube

A focusing electrode and a final accelerating electrode accommodate, respectively, a first and a second field forming electrode in positions set back from a first and a second aperture of their end faces opposed to each other. The first and the second field forming electrode have three electron beam passage apertures disposed in an in-line arrangement. When the in-line direction is an X-axis direction, a direction perpendicular to the in-line direction is a Y-axis direction and the center of a central electron beam passage aperture formed in the first field forming electrode is X&equals;0 and Y&equals;0, the central electron beam passage aperture has a shape that passes through the intersection points of the X-axis and the Y-axis with a curve represented by the equation (X/R1) &plus;(Y/R2) &equals;1 (where R1 and R2 are constants) and that has an area smaller than the area encircled by the curve.

In-line type electron gun and color picture tube apparatus using the same

A vertical electrode plate having three openings formed in-line through which three electron beams pass respectively is provided only inside a focusing electrode out of the focusing electrode and a final accelerating electrode. A horizontal electrode plate that is substantially parallel to an in-line plane extending toward the focusing electrode is formed at least one of above and below openings at the bottom of a shielding cup, only inside the final accelerating electrode. By setting the height h of the horizontal electrode plate optimally, it is possible to correct a horizontally-elongated distortion of a spot shape in edge portions of a screen, caused by a self-convergence magnetic field of a deflecting device. In this manner, a color display tube that achieves an image display with a high resolution can be provided.

Color display tube

A reinforcing electrode plate having at least one electron-beam through-hole that passes an electron beam is connected to at least one of a focusing electrode and a final accelerating electrode at its opening portion. Supporting portions of the reinforcing electrode plate are formed so as to project further outside than the opening portion or the peripheral face of the electrode, thus fixing the reinforcing electrode plate to an insulating support. Therefore, the deformation of the focusing electrode or the final accelerating electrode that occurs in assembling a main lens of an electron gun used for a color cathode-ray tube is prevented, thus decreasing the variation in property of the electron gun. Additionally, by adjusting the shape or the like of an opening through which an electron beam passes in the reinforcing electrode plate, a focusing power of the main lens can be adjusted in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction.
