Disclosed is a rare-earth complex polymer including trivalent rare-earth ions and a phosphine oxide bidentate ligand represented by the formula (1). One phosphine oxide bidentate ligand is coordinated to the two rare-earth ions, and crosslinks the same.

Provided is an organic ligand capable of providing a complex that has a three-dimensional network structure due to rare-earth element ions. Also provided is a coordination polymer which includes this organic ligand, has a new function, and contains rare-earth element ions. Additionally, a process for producing the coordination polymer and a use of the coordination polymer are provided. In particular, provided is a coordination polymer having repeating units of formula (10): wherein each of the variable groups is as defined in the specification.

Polymer complex and production process therefor

Provided are: a rare earth complex which has a novel structure, which exhibits compatibility with organic solvents and resins, and which exhibits excellent luminescent properties as a luminescent element; and a use thereof. Sheet integrated rare earth complex and use thereof

The present invention relates to Eu (II) compound nanocrystals doped with transition metal ions. Such a constitution generates quantum size effects of an Eu (II) compound nanoparticle, while the transition metal ions can affect a magnetooptical property of the Eu (II) compound nanoparticle. Thus, the magnetooptical property can be improved.

Thin film and nanocrystals of europium(II) compound doped with metal ions

The present invention is produced by a composite with an Eu (II) compound nanoparticle and a metal nanoparticle. Such production generates quantum size effects of the Eu (II) compound nanoparticle, while the surface plasmon of the metal nanoparticle can be used. Thus, the magnetooptical property can be improved. In addition, a thin film may be produced by a composite with an Eu (II) compound nanoparticle and a metal nanoparticle.

The present invention intends to provide a rare-earth complex polymer having a sufficient heat resistance to be blended in a plastic material and fabricated. A preferable embodiment of the rare-earth complex polymer comprises a plurality of both trivalent rare-earth ions and phosphine oxide multidentate ligands and a crosslinked structure formed by the phosphine oxide multidentate ligands being coordinated to a plurality of the rare-earth ions.

Rare-earth complex and uses thereof

There is provided a metal complex that is large in degree of a change in emission intensity, the change being caused by a change in molecular structure of a ligand through a photochromic reaction. The metal complex is arranged such that a diarylethene-based photochromic molecule coordinates to a metal ion via two groups directly bonded to respective reaction site carbons and that the groups are each independently a group selected from Formula Group (1) below. 

Metal complex and use thereof

The present invention has been created to provide a near infrared high emission rare-earth complex having an excellent light-emitting property in the near infrared region. The near infrared high emission rare-earth complex of the present invention is characterized in that its structure is expressed by the following general formula (1): where Ln(III) represents a trivalent rare-earth ion; n is an integer equal to or greater than three; Xs represent either the same member or different members selected from a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom, halogen atoms, C-Cgroups, hydroxyl groups, nitro groups, amino groups, sulfonyl groups, cyano groups, silyl groups, phosphonic groups, diazo groups and mercapto groups; and Z represents a bidentate ligand.

Near infrared high emission rare-earth complex

A method to easily manufacture a nanosized EuSe crystal which has been conventionally difficult to be manufactured. Heating an Eu(III) complex whose general formula is represented by the following formula generates an EuSe crystal having a particle size corresponding to the heating condition. Alternatively, the mixture composed of Eu(III) complex, a counter cation, and a solvent may be heated. The particle size of the nanosized EuSe crystals can be manipulated by the heating condition, thus the absorption wavelength of the EuSe crystals can be easily controlled. In addition, it is easy to create a magnetooptic-responsive plastic using the high dispersibility of the EuSe crystals, thus it can be immediately applied to an optical isolator or other devices.

In one embodiment of the present invention, an information identification device, an information identification method, and an information identification system each of which can maintain a high security level and which can be used for a long time without any restrictions on use conditions are realized. An ID identification system includes: an ID identifying medium containing a rare-earth complex; and an ID identification device for identifying identification information corresponding to the rare-earth complex. The ID identification device includes: a light source for irradiating, with exciting light, an ID identifying medium containing a rare-earth complex; a measurement section for receiving light emitted from the ID identifying medium, and for measuring spectral intensities of the light; a computation section for computing a ratio of spectral intensities at different wavelengths among the spectral intensities thus measured; and an identification section for identifying identification information corresponding to the ratio thus computed.
