A vehicle seat lifter device includes: a pinion gear which meshes with an input gear of a link mechanism which causes a seat to undergo lifting and lowering operations; and a rotational control device which controls rotation of the pinion gear. The rotational control device includes a rotating shaft which rotates in synchronization with the pinion gear, a rotation restriction mechanism including a first meshing member which rotates with the rotating shaft and a second meshing member which restricts rotation of the rotating shaft by meshing with the first meshing member, an input member which is linked to an operation handle to rotate around the rotating shaft, a release mechanism which releases the meshing of the first and second meshing members through rotation of the input member from a neutral position, and a braking mechanism which applies a braking force to the rotating shaft.

An engine testing apparatus is provided with a memory portion for storing a control command value obtained when the rotation speed of a dynamometer is changed by the control command value in accordance with the change of the engine rotation speed in a real vehicle in a period in which the engine behavior in a real vehicle is reproduced without connecting the dynamometer to an engine under test. The engine testing apparatus is provided with an output portion that supplies the control command value stored in the memory portion to the dynamometer with reference to an engine output signal showing the start of the reproducing period.

A resin worm wheel is formed by injection molding and includes a first end and a second end. The worm wheel is adapted to be driven by a worm. The worm wheel further includes: an engaging portion including a plurality of teeth engageable with the worm and a tooth space formed between the neighboring teeth; a first non-engaging portion adjacent to the engaging portion at the first end of the worm wheel and not engaging with the worm; and a first cutout portion formed at the first non-engaging portion continuously from the tooth space, the first cutout portion extending axially.

An attachment structure for installing a load sensor to a vehicle seat includes the load sensor having a plate-shaped strain unit and a strain gauge for detecting a strain of the plate-shaped strain unit. The load sensor is structured that one end of the plate-shaped strain unit is fixed to a seating portion of the vehicle seat and the other end of the strain unit is fixed to a vehicle body. Also, a strain portion is defined between each fixed end of the plate-shaped strain unit, and the strain portion is deformable in a vertical direction relative to the vehicle seat. In addition, a load input point from the seating portion is defined approximately at a central portion of the strain portion of the plate-shaped strain unit.

Attachment structure of a load sensor for a vehicle seat

A seat occupant sensor device for detecting whether or not an occupant is seated on a seat is made up of a pressure sensitive switch including a pair of sensor portions and a connecting portion, with each of the sensor portions being formed as an integration of a pair of opposed films and a spacer. On one of the films is disposed a plurality of spaced first electrodes which are electrically connected to each other by way of a first conductive path, and on the other film is disposed a plurality of spaced second electrodes which are electrically connected to each other by way of a second conductive path. The spacer is disposed between the pair of opposed films in such a manner that each of the first electrodes is maintained separate from the corresponding second electrode when the seat is unoccupied. The first conductive path and the second conductive path extend into the connecting portion, and the connecting portion is positioned, when in its free state, between the pair of the sensor portions. A connector is provided at the distal end of the connecting portion for connecting the first conductive path and the second conductive path to an external control device. A block member is provided at a connecting region at which a proximate end of the connecting portion is connected to each of the sensor portions for guiding the connecting portion reversely.

Seat occupant sensor device

A seat belt warning device includes a sitting detection switch which is adapted to be in an on-state when a person sits on a vehicle seat and in an off-state when a person is not sitting on the vehicle seat, and a fastening detection switch which is connected to the sitting detection switch in series and adapted to be in an on-state when a seat belt is not fastened and in an off-state when the seat belt is fastened. A warning member is connected to the sitting detection switch and the fastening detection switch in series and is supplied with electric current in the on-state of the sitting detection switch and the on-state of the fastening detection switch to issue a warning.

An apparatus for unlocking a door lock for a vehicle, comprising a plurality of door locks for being mounted on doors of the vehicle, a collision direction detecting device for detecting a direction of an impact applied to a vehicle; and an unlocking mechanism for unlocking a door lock located on a side opposite to a collision side based on the direction detected by the collision direction detecting device.

Apparatus for unlocking a door lock for a vehicle

A regulator for a power window having a safety function for preventing an object from being caught in a closing power window includes a driving unit for raising and lowering the window glass of a vehicle and a driven unit which receives power from the driving unit. When frictional resistance corresponding to relative displacement between the driving and driven units is less than a fixed value during descent of the window glass and exceeds this fixed during ascent of the window glass, the ascending window glass is reversed and made to descend. When the amount of an increase in current to the driving unit during ascent of the window glass increases in a case where the sliding resistance has exceeded a fixed value even once during descent of the window glass, the ascending window glass is reversed and made to descend.

Power window regulator apparatus

A seat structure is provided which can more reliably detect seating by a smaller stroke of a seat cushion. Movable members 8, 51 and 231 operating in response to up and down movement of a seat cushion 1 and a switching means 4 able to abut against the movable members 8, 51 and 231 are provided, performing occupant detection based on the on/off operation of the switching means 4 by means of the movement operation of the movable members 8, 51 and 231 accompanying a fall of the seat cushion 1.

Automatic slide door mechanism includes a slide rail secured to a slide door of a vehicle and which is extended in the fore-aft-direction of the vehicle, a slide rail guide holding the slide rail and held by an arm rotatably coupled to a main vehicle body, swing driving actuator for rotating the arm towards inside or outside of the vehicle, and slide driving actuator separate from the swing driving actuator, the slide driving actuator being held by the slide rail guide and adapted for actuating the slide door and the slide rail in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle. This assures smooth and prompt operation during movement of the slide door in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle and a sufficiently large torque during movement of the slide door towards inside or outside.

A lid lock apparatus is comprised of a lid pivotally mounted to a vehicle-body for opening/closing an opening formed therein and movable between an opening position and a closing position, a locking mechanism which is in engagement with the lid in order to hold the lid at its closing position, a first driving mechanism associated with the locking mechanism for releasing the lid from the locking mechanism, a second driving mechanism associated with the locking mechanism for releasing the lid from the locking mechanism, and a device for assuring operations of the first driving mechanism and the second driving mechanism which are independent of the second driving mechanism and the first driving mechanism, respectively.

Lid lock apparatus

A lid lock apparatus is comprised of an opening formed in a vehicle-body, a lid pivotally mounted to the vehicle-body, a locking mechanism is connected to the plate and has a shaft which engages and disengages the lid when operated to its closed and opened condition, respectively. A driving mechanism which is arranged for releasing the engagement between the shaft and the lid when in the closed condition, is mounted on the locking mechanism and positioned in such a manner that the driving mechanism is set to be in close relationship to the plate while being perpendicular to the axis of the shaft.
