A seatbelt retractor reduces the temporary weight during seatbelt withdrawal to increase an occupant's comfort. When a seatbelt is not being worn by an occupant (off), projections of an internal gear are placed in a circumferential center between adjacent projections by the spring force of springs. When a spool rotates in the belt withdrawing direction, the internal gear also rotates in the belt withdrawing direction. This arrangement disables a reduction mechanism's power transmission to cut off the direct connection between the spool and electric motor connected to a sun gear to reduce the temporary weight during withdrawal of the seatbelt. When the internal gear rotates at a predetermined angle, the projections come into contact with the projections to thereby stop the rotation of the internal gear. This enables the power transmission of the reduction mechanism, whereby the spool and electric motor are brought into direct connection via the reduction mechanism.

Seatbelt retractor

A seat belt apparatus for a vehicle that allows a vehicle passenger to smoothly get in or out of the vehicle. The seat belt apparatus may be mounted in a vehicle, so that with a turning operation of a turning member, a seat belt front-end of an overall seat belt, that is fixed to the turning member of an out-anchor apparatus, is set at a first setting position close to a vehicle passenger upon wearing the seat belt and at a second setting position remote from the vehicle passenger upon retracting the seat belt.

A retractor of a seatbelt apparatus to be installed in a vehicle is structured such that a Hall sensor and a magnetic disc as a mechanism configured to detect the position of a rotor in a motor are also used as mechanisms for detecting the amount of winding or unwinding a seatbelt.

Seatbelt apparatus

A seatbelt retractor includes a spool formed into a hollow cylindrical shape and capable of winding a seatbelt onto a spool outer periphery or unwinding the seatbelt from the spool outer periphery. The retractor includes a motor accommodated in a cylindrical space of the spool and a motor speed-reduction mechanism configured to reduce the rotational speed of the motor via a plurality of gears. A controller is provided to control the operation of the motor.

Automatic deboning method and apparatus for upper half of poultry carcass

A method and apparatus for separating bone and meat of the upper half of a poultry carcass with a variety of the sizes are provided, wherein first cutting is effected in the neighborhood of a shoulder joint to disconnect tissues under influence of a separation force applied between the upper half of a poultry carcass and the head of a humerus, second cutting is effected along the surface of the front side of a furcula, and then breast meat is efficiently separated by a conventional device with a higher recovery rate and an auto-loading system comprising a plurality of buffer conveyors is provided, wherein the upper halves of poultry carcasses are continuously loaded to as many apparatuses for the separating without downtime. In the first cutting of the method and an apparatus for the separating, an inserting position and depth of an obliquely moving cutter blade (116) is properly determined with accuracy by the help of a guide bar with reference pieces, which is selected according to the size of the upper half of a poultry carcass and put inside the shoulder joints for setting reference planes, vertical and horizontal.
