A vehicle decorative lighting device and a vehicle lamp including a lighting device can include a light guide lens formed in a substantially U-shape and a pair of LED light sources that can emit various color lights. Each of the light sources can be located at both end surfaces of the light guide lens having a U-shaped light-emitting surface. The vehicle lamp can include a lamp room between an outer lens and a housing, and can incorporate various vehicle lamps such as a headlight along with the lighting device in the lamp room. The lighting device can be located in the lamp room so as to emit various U-shaped color lights along a periphery of the outer lens. Thus, the disclosed subject matter can include providing vehicle lamps including the decorative lighting device having a harmonious favorable light distribution, for example, such that combine a headlight with a position lamp.

A projector headlight for a low beam can include a light source, an ellipsoidal reflector, a projector lens and a shade. Light emitted from the light source can form a fundamental light distribution pattern from the projector lens via the ellipsoidal reflector by shielding an upward portion of the light with the shade. The shade can form a blurred part on a horizontal cut-off line using a radiused R surface between a top and front edge lines of the shade. Therefore, a contrasting difference between the upper and lower sides of the horizontal cut-off line can be reduced so as to be able to conform to a light distribution standard for a headlight. The R surface can be configured with a reflex surface or a non-reflex surface to match the light source. Thus, the projector headlight can perform a favorable light distribution pattern utilizing a simple structure.

A frame portion projected on an edge portion of an opening portion is formed on the side thereof with an engaging groove, a frame type hook plate is placed in contact with the peripheral edge of a window glass by a spring member and engaged by a hook with the engaging groove provided in the frame portion, and a seal gasket is held by the frame portion and the window glass with the aid of elasticity of the frame type hook plate to provide an airtight construction. The window glass is mounted by the frame type hook plate avoiding the need for a threaded mounting.
