An object of the present invention is to provide a gas turbine power generator capable of increasing the power generation efficiency in partial load operation and decreasing a variation in the number of rotations caused by a variation in power generation load. The gas turbine power generator comprises a compressor () for compressing air, a combustor () for burning the compressed air and fuel, a turbine () driven by combustion gas produced in the combustor and driving the compressor () and a generator (), a regenerative heat exchanger () for exchanging heat between exhaust gas from the turbine and the compressed air led into the combustor, an intake air sprayer (), and a humidifier (). Intake air flown into the regenerative heat exchanger () is humidified and cooled by the intake air sprayer () and the humidifier ().

Gas turbine power generator having humidifying and cooling means

A heat and electric power supply system includes a regenerative gas turbine and an adsorption refrigerator recovering exhaust heat of exhaust gas from the gas turbine and is provided with inlet air cooling equipment including a spray device for spraying cold water from the adsorption refrigerator into an air-intake port of the regenerative gas turbine and a humidifier effecting humidification by hot water injection from the refrigerator into a compressor delivery port of the regenerative gas turbine. The cooling by cold water and humidification by hot water injection are effected according to operational conditions.

Heat and electric power supply system and operation method thereof

In fuel gasification, particles of, for example, coal and an oxidant are supplied to a reactor, where the coal particles are gasified. The gas thus produced may contain molten slag entrained therein and such slag could subsequently solidify and affect other components of the coal gasification apparatus. Therefore a molten slag cooling heat exchanger is positioned directly above the reactor and this cools the gas so as to cause any molten slag therein to solidify. Hence, such molten slag does not reach an evaporator above the molten slag cooling heat exchanger, so that the efficiency of the evaporator will be maintained. However, solidified molten slag may build up on heat exchange tubes of the molten slag cooling heat exchanger. Therefore, the rate of coolant supplied to the molten slag cooling heat exchanger is varied, to cause expansion and contraction which causes solidified slag to be dislodged. Hence the efficiency of the molten slag cooling heat exchanger does not deteriorate. Cleaning gas and coal particles may be jetted onto the evaporator to dislodge ash or soot therefrom.

Method of fuel gasification and an apparatus for performing such a method

A thermo-siphon type generator apparatus making use of a gravity-type heat pipe in which a working medium is cyclically evaporated and condensed. The apparatus has a closed vessel filled with the working fluid and defining a lower evaporating section, an upper condensing section and a heat-insulated section between the evaporating and condensing sections. A turbine connected to a generator is mounted in or on the closed vessel. A first passage is provided for introducing the vapor of the working fluid generated in the evaporating section to the turbine, while a second passage is adapted for introducing the vapor from the turbine to the condensing section. The evaporating section includes a reservoir chamber adapted to store the working fluid in liquid phase, and a vapor bubble pumping space communicated with the reservoir chamber and adapted to generate, when heated, upward movement of vapor bubbles of the working fluid thereby to forward the vapor of the working medium to the turbine through the first passage. A third passage is provided for returning the condensate liquid to the reservoir chamber.

Thermo-siphon type generator apparatus

The present invention provides a low boiling point medium evaporator which generates low boiling point medium vapor in the mixture of two components with different boiling points by heating at the risers and mixes said heated two component mixture and said low boiling point medium liquid supplied from the outside of the system and has at least one device provided at the outlet portion of said risers and used both as a heat exchanger to generate saturated vapor of said low boiling point medium vapor by mixing said low boiling point medium liquid and the two phase flow comprised said low boiling point medium vapor and said mixture and passing said two phase flow through said low boiling point medium vapor and as a cyclone to separate said saturated vapor and said mixture.

A turbomachine rotor arrangement is provided having a rotor wheel and blades thereon with a tie pin for interconnecting adjacent blades. A plurality of blades respectively define tie holes wherein the tie holes of adjacent blades are disposed with the radial heights of said holes being different and with the tie pin disposed in the tie holes so as to be acted upon by respective different amplitudes of vibration than said adjacent blades during rotation.
