A system and associated method provides a visualization of a life cycle of a trade order. The visualization may be in the form of a tree structure with a plurality of linked nodes. Each node may be associated with an event that occurs during the life cycle of the trade. A monitoring system receives information associated with a plurality of events associated with the trade order, generates a plurality of nodes based on the received information, stores identifiers associated with each of the plurality of nodes, and links the plurality of nodes based on the identifiers to create the tree structure. The monitoring system also performs a verification process to determine whether the visualization is missing information or includes incorrect information and alerts to a discrepancy identified during the verification process.

Systems and methods for visualizing a trade life cycle and detecting discrepancies

Embodiments provide a computer implemented method in a data processing system comprising a processor and a memory comprising instructions, which are executed by the processor to cause the processor to implement the method of identifying negative communications from a plurality of electronic communications, including: extracting a plurality of terms from the plurality of electronic communications, wherein the plurality of terms include subjects, action verbs, adjectives and business objects; identifying variations of each term and grouping the variations for each term to form a dictionary; generating a co-occurrence graph to illustrate relationships between different terms in the plurality of terms; assigning each term with an entity type; identifying a negative intent for each business object using the co-occurrence graph; providing one or more semantic rules, and identifying one or more negative communications having the negative intent based on the one or more semantic rules.

Identifying complaints from messages

Embodiments provide a computer implemented method in a data processing system comprising a processor and a memory comprising instructions, which are executed by the processor to cause the processor to implement the method of identifying negative communications from a plurality of electronic communications, including: extracting a plurality of terms from the plurality of electronic communications, wherein the plurality of terms include subjects, action verbs, adjectives and business objects; identifying variations of each term and grouping the variations for each term to form a dictionary; generating a co-occurrence graph to illustrate relationships between different terms in the plurality of terms; assigning each term with an entity type; identifying an intent for each business object using the co-occurrence graph; providing one or more rules, and identifying one or more negative communications based on the one or more rules.

Under the present invention, item verification is automated and expedited. Specifically, items to be purchased can be scanned by the shopper using a barcode reader (e.g., a scanner), attached to or positioned near the checkout station. As items are scanned, they are identified based on their barcode, and added to an item list. Item verification can then be performed at checkout using imaging technology. Specifically, as items are scanned, an item verification unit will capture an appearance thereof (via a camera). Item verification software within the item verification unit will access a database that associates items with their images/appearances. The appearance will be compared for consistency to the identity as determined based on the scan. In general, the item verification unit is a separate unit from the cash register, but adapted to work in conjunction therewith (e.g., as a pluggable system, via wireless communication, etc.).

A method, system, and article for dynamic management of two or more operating system images for at least two client machines operating in a computer system sub-network. Different physical areas of the sub-network support separate image of the operating system images. Method and system for automated operating system image loading

A computer system generates video based cohorts. Digital video data is processed to identify a set of color and texture based attributes associated with clothing worn by a set of objects. The digital video data comprises metadata describing the set of objects. The set of color and texture based attributes are analyzed using cohort criteria to form a result. The cohort criteria specify attributes that are associated with members of a given cohort. A set of cohorts is generated based on the result. Each cohort in the set of cohorts comprises a subset of objects from the set of objects that share at least one color and texture based attribute in common.

Identifying and generating color and texture video cohorts based on video input

A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program product for generating video based cohorts. Digital video data is processed to identify a set of color and texture based attributes associated with the set of objects. The digital video data comprises metadata describing the set of objects. The set of color and texture based attributes are analyzed using cohort criteria to form a result. The cohort criteria specify attributes that are associated with members of a given cohort. A set of cohorts is generated based on the result. Each cohort in the set of cohorts comprises a subset of objects from the set of objects that share at least one color and texture based attribute in common.

A Web browser is augmented with collaborative features to support community aware browsing sessions. The augmentation provided includes a data mining plug-in for the browser to establish collaborative context based on Uniform Resource Locator (URL) meta data keywords, or mined topics, and a collaboration co-browser (explorer bar) which displays a collaboration space, called CollabSpace, corresponding to the document that is displayed in the main browser. With this augmented browser, a user can perform various collaboration functions from the collaboration explorer bar, including viewing the online status of members of the CollabSpace, communicate with members of the CollabSpace via electronic mail (e-mail), instant messaging or discussion threads, and register as a member of the CollabSpace. CollabSpaces can be established and associated with one or more Web documents, meta data keywords or topics.
